Now, thanks to the NYT article that gives the common people a glimpse into what exactly has been taking place within these fundraisers, we know that when Hillary arrived at the Rotschild mansion, she would "bask in an affectionate embrace as hosts try to limit confrontational engagements. Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a backer of Democrats and a friend of the Clintons’, made sure attendees did not grill Mrs. Clinton at the $100,000-per-couple lamb dinner Mrs. Forester de Rothschild hosted under a tent on the lawn of her oceanfront Martha’s Vineyard mansion.

“I said, ‘Let’s make it a nice night for her and show her our love,’” Mrs. Forester de Rothschild said......etc.

NEW YORK CITY, New York — Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee for president, had yet another coughing fit on her plane flight from Ohio to Iowa in front of the traveling press, ABC News reports.
Liz Kreutz from ABC News notes that while Clinton still hasn’t held a formal press conference, after her Labor Day event in Cleveland, Ohio, she hopped into the press cabin of her new campaign plane, which was flying to the Quad Cities area of Iowa, to take a handful of questions from reporters. But instead of actually being able to answer their questions, Clinton had to cut the “press availability” short because of another coughing fit...etc.


I've just seen that. All else set aside, no way is she physically fit to be president.

And here's a thing - we expect women in her position, with her money, to have a certain presence. Hillary just looks tired, badly-dressed, puffy and worn-out. Merkel's got the same look - though she hasn't started having coughing fits, or uncontrollable head wobbles in public yet.

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton suffered another coughing fit on the campaign trail, immediately after she took the stage during a rally in Cleveland.

Clinton has been off the campaign trail for several days of rest, and the Labor Day rally with Tim Kaine was meant to mark her triumphant push across the finish line.

Clinton immediately reached for a glass of water after taking the stage, coughing repeatedly.

“Every time I think about Trump, I get allergic,” she said, smiling weakly.

“Boy ,we have 63 days to go,” she choked, continuing to cough repeatedly.

After pausing for several seconds and reaching for some sort of medication she struggled through another sentence as her running mate Tim Kaine stood up and sat down awkwardly. Later it appeared that Kaine brought her some paper towels.

An aide also stood up to give her something to assist her struggle with her cough.

Clinton again referred to her “allergic reaction” as she continued speaking.

With a hoarse voice, she continued to struggle through her speech, coughing repeatedly and trashing Donald Trump for not being suited to serve as commander in chief.

An NBC reporter remarked that this coughing fit is “the worst one I can remember.”


And where on earth does she get her horrible clothes from? They look like a cross between a Mao uniform and something out of Thunderbirds....

She allegedly has to use a catheter and bag. So, she would need to cover them up, so loose clothes are the safest bet?

I just cannot understand how she is deemed healthy enough to be President.

From what I can see, Lily, she isn't physically fit enough to be a lollipop lady, never mind president.

So now it's something else?   What happened to the thyroid tales like the one where she had bulging eyes cos she has Hashimoto's Syndrome?   As one whose family carries this genetic disease I know a hell of a lot about it - my elder son and his sister both have Graves, as do I.   If Hillary Clinton has Hashimoto's then she would put on weight, if it's Graves then she would lose weight; my specialist many years ago told me that the bulging eyes 90% of the time was from Graves, not Hashimoto's.   Having a dicky thyroid does not incapacitate you; oh, and a catheter and bag does not denote thyroid problems.    LL

It resonated with me as George HW Bush and his wife were both found to have Graves Disease. It must have been on a link bonny as I don't go looking for political items as you know. LL

Yes, probably, and for whatever reason, my eyes just skipped that bit, LL. Whatever's wrong with Hillary - and I suspect something is - I doubt if it's anything to do with thyroids.

Apart from the coughing fits and the bizarre head-bobbing, she's needed help up steps on a few occasions recently. All most odd.

In other words, Hillary's campaign was angry at NBC for reporting what millions of people saw on live TV, or in other words, the facts. However, in this particular case, the facts were less than palatable to Clinton's campaign and supports who promptly attacked if not the message then the messnger. Clinton traveling press secretary, Nick Merrill, slammed the report on Twitter, writing to Rafferty, “get a life.”

Or Hillary could try something new to her - telling the truth.

The summaries revealed that the FBI identified 13 mobile devices associated with Clinton's two phone numbers, but the Justice Department was unable to obtain any of them. On another occasion, an aide to former President Bill Clinton recalled "two instances where he destroyed Clinton's old mobile phones by breaking them in half or hitting them with a hammer."

"Who uses 13 different iPhones in four years?" Trump asked rhetorically Tuesday. "People who have nothing to hide don't destroy phones with hammers. They don't ... destroy evidence to keep it from being publicly archived as required under federal law."

I find it utterly bizarre, Lily. I have never seen anyone less fit, morally and physically to hold ANY public office than Hillary, but she seems to have her supporters hypnotised.

I do think it brings up questions to what sort of game the FBI is trying to play. But Hillary Clinton says she can’t remember what a “c” in brackets stands for. Everyone in positions of government and in Wikileaks knows it stands for ‘classified confidential.’

And in fact we have already released thousands of cables by Hillary Clinton. Here she is “Clinton” see, that’s her signature. With a “c” in brackets right there. We have thousands of examples where she, herself has used this “c” in brackets and signed it off. And more than 22,000 times that she has received cables from others with this “c” in brackets.

Mind you, smashing up cellphones with hammers should be more than enough evidence that she's a wrong 'un.

Her supporters will probably have a hard time figuring that out, Bonny. They may think it is all Bill's fault.

Clinton then said that “here, at home, for goodness sakes, we have to finally pass a law prohibiting people on the terrorist watch list from being able to guy a gun in the United States of America.” This is a reference to the “no fly, no buy” law that Democrats have been pushing since the December 2 San Bernardino terror attack, although neither of the San Bernardino attackers were on any kind of list.

Yeah, Hillary, that'll stop terrorists getting hold of firearms.

It's easy for criminals and terrorists to get hold of firearms in Europe and the UK - just look at the endless gang shootings in London and other cities.

Look at the death toll in Chicago, which has just about the most restrictive gun laws in the US:
