It's Clock Boy Mk 2. One school of thought is suggesting that Trump knew all of this when he made his seemingly-thoughtless remark, and did it on purpose, knowing the entire 'official' narrative would start unravelling under scrutiny.

Which makes sense, because if bloggers could dig out all this - and more - then I am sure Trump's people are equally capable of using Google and doing some fact-checking.

It didn't pass the smell test for me, because I could think of no good reason for Khan to be shouting at Trump, when his son was killed by his fellow-muslims, in a war that Hillary approved of.

Also, I found it interesting Mr. Khan, that you and your wife, an American Gold Star family, would take the stage to support a sitting president and one desiring to be president, who had abandoned Americans in a combat zone and lied about it.

That letter is stunning, Lily - yes, it's everything that is wrong with this stunt.

It is such a shame that Trump had not buttoned his mouth as the craziness surrounding this stunt would not be an issue.

I just don't know about that, Lily. If he wanted to provoke Mr Khan into further outbursts, and media attention, he certainly succeeded.

And I was struck by Mrs Khan's demeanour, especially the glaring.

Who knows? It's all very murky and mucky, and there are still, what, three months of this to go?

Yes, there are Bonny. It is just that this stunt has become a massive thing at the moment. The media is being really careful about not stirring anti Hillary sentiment up.

No doubt it will calm down soon when Wiki drop some more e-mails etc.

IMO, Lily, the scale of Hillary's corruption and lying is so vast, it's just about impossible to take it in. You think you've got a handle on one strand of it - then along comes something else.

Yet few in the MSM ever challenge her on it, which makes it impossible to trust them on anything. It's as if Woodward and Bernstein knew all about Watergate, but decided not to mention it in case it caused a bit of an upset.....

The establishment media simply are not doing their job. I have this appalling feeling that they DID know about Mr Khan's back story - it's not hard to find - but went with the Approved By Hillary version, rather than do the job a free press is supposed to do.

It's not good.

By and large, the media here is as corrupt as the political class.

I wonder, is Hillary somehow stuck back in Bill's glory years, when her people pull these stunts? Does she actually not grasp that if people don't quite trust the version of events being presented by the MSM, they go looking elsewhere?

Which is how they find out about Muslim Brotherhood-supporting lawyers? She certainly doesn't seem to have Trump's grasp of social media. The fortune she's spent on ads suggests that, when all Trump has to do is tweet or post an Instagram for free.....

I certainly hope that they do look elsewhere. I think they are too arrogant to care about people really. Especially when a person is pathological like Hilllary.

Wow!! I absolutely love that man's articulate response to Mr. Kahn and liberals in our country.

It's rather revealing to watch Mr Khan with the sound muted, Lily. All you see then is NOT bereavement, but a woman glaring at the camera, and an angry man continually, aggressively, jabbing his finger at the camera.

I wonder if that is what Mr and Mrs Ordinary, blue collar American will also see? I have a feeling this stunt will backfire on Hillary.

The father of a Muslim-American soldier killed in Iraq who is caught up in a war of words with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is an immigration lawyer who specializes in a highly controversial program accused of letting immigrants buy their way into the U.S.

Khizr M. Khan's website notes that he works to help clients with the E-2 and EB-5 programs that let overseas investors buy into U.S. companies and also provides green cards for family members.

It also said that he helps in the purchase of U.S. real estate and businesses. The website lists his ability to practice in New York, though it gives a Washington phone number for the lawyer who lives in Virginia. A man who answered the phone said the website was correct, though he would not identify himself.

"The E-2 and EB-5 are two of the most notoriously abused visa categories that essentially allow wealthy foreigners to buy their way to U.S. residency, and possibly citizenship, with a relatively modest investment," said Jessica Vaughan, the policy director for the Center for Immigration Studies.

The EB-5 program has been caught up in multiple scandals and critics are pressing Congress to kill it.

"The EB-5 is literally a 'citizenship for sale' program in which a visa for a whole family can be bought for as little $500,000," Vaughan told Secrets. "It is literally a 'citizenship for sale' program, and it's an amazing deal. Compared to other countries, America is the Walmart of investor visa programs," she added.

One criticism is that it allows an immigrant to invest $500,000 in an approved type of business and in return get a set of green cards for the investor, the investor's spouse, and all their under 21-years-of-age children.

Other documented problems include foreigners getting fleeced in fraudulent schemes to help them invest in the U.S.

There is no indication that Khan's clients have been caught up in the controversies....etc.

No wonder he was shouting and jabbing his finger at Trump, with no words of criticism for either the islamists whose IED killed his son, or the politicians who sent him to war.

He's on a nice little earner, which he will lose should Trump be elected.
