In my opinion, the only way to disprove Amaral's claim about Scotland Yard, is to make them aware of Goncalo's statement.

It is precisely because of who he was that we have this situation. And he is dangerous because some idiots will believe him.

Good God, can you imagine this happening in Britain? A Police Inspector leaking false information and then going on to write a Libellous Book? It's horrific. But then he would have been suspended in Britain and then sacked after he was convicted of Perjury. And he would have lost his Pension Rights.

Seriously, I cannot think of any other retired police officer who has acted in such a vindictive manner. They often write books about cases they have been involved in, but they don't harrass innocent people, or make up lies about them.

It's just not done; totally unprofessional, apart from anything else.
