No, he wouldn't do anything sensible like go and get a tractor and move it right away, would he? He'd lug the body into his house from what looks more like a farm shop to me, put it on the exact spot Eddie woofed at, and then move it. Somehow.

All this without leaving a trace in the shed, the tractor - anywhere, in fact, just at the one spot Eddie woofed at.

And why didn't Eddie woof at the shed, then? Unless they think the police thought, Oh, we won't bother checking the shed, no-one ever commits murder in sheds?

You couldn't make this up; anything, rather than admit that Eddie really is just a dog.

I take it that the Anti's do not know that farms have wonderful new inventions called DIGGERS, mechanical DIGGERS. They can dig big holes very quickly.

This is awfully sad. Even the Police thought it was a provoked attack. He would have gotten away with Manslaughter if he had admitted it right away.

That is one of the reasons I thought he could well have been innocent, Sabot. With the best will in the world, Mrs Prout wasn't easy to live with, as there were ample witnesses to testify.

But, he clearly did kill her, whatever the circumstances, and it's a bit too late for him to change his plea now. He may well have thought he could pull it off, not least because of the erroneous carpet-woofing.

I am watching these idiots talking absolute trash to try to spin this. In the first place, I would be surprised if that is the 'shooting lodge' - what on earth is the point of one at the foot of the garden, a long way away from the shooting area?

If it is, then it is NOT a proper lodge, it's a hut for having drinkies in.

Whatever it is, it is sheer insanity to think that the outbuildings were not searched and sniffed - it's a farm, FFS, not a flat in a tower block.

I swear the nearest these idiots have come to a working farm - or dogs - is watching Emmerdale on telly.

Eddie's track record for confusing investigations is not looking good at all, although I don't suppose it is his fault. He has been hyped way beyond his capabilities, not least by The Morons who have persistently ignored what Grime said about Forensic Evidence.
Even on American Forums they ignore what was said in Court by the dog handler at The Anthony Trial. A dog that almost certainly was trained on Cadavers. These people seem to be entirely incapable of understanding basic facts.

I am sure Eddie did sterling work as an official police dog - maybe better than many. But - he's still just a DOG. This business of imbuing him with supernatural abilities is ridiculous - or would be, if it weren't so dangerous.

In some versions of the files, she is, in others, she isn't.

Not really important, but you have to wonder how many mistakes, accidental or deliberate, there are in the versions of the files which are on the internet.

I get the odd feeling they aren't the same as the files the McCanns had properly translated, or the ones the police are using.

Kate Prout murder: inquest to open next week

AN inquest in to the death of Kate Prout is likely to be opened next week.

The Gloucester Coroner has been informed of the discovery of her remains in Redmarley, following last week's four-day police search.

Officers dug in woodland pinpointed by her husband Adrian Prout, who admitted the killing after failing a lie detector test in jail in August. He had denied killing her in a row over their divorce but on Thursday, November 17, confessed to police.

The next day he took officers to the spot where he buried her. Police are understood to have been told he strangled her, wrapped up her body and buried her in a pheasant enclosure.

He was jailed for life with a minimum term of 18 years in February 2010, for the murder of his wife, despite no trace of her body being found.

Yesterday a Gloucester Coroner's Office official said a post mortem examination had been carried out but no initial cause of death had been established.

He said the inquest is likely to be officially opened next week.

Her remains were formally identified on Friday, November 25.

No fewer than THREE US cadaver dogs - which are better trained to begin with - woofing down a well, in the course of a search for a missing woman.

At great expense, and not a little danger, the well was dug out. Guess what? No cadaver.

The woman's remains were eventually found about a year later, buried in a wood.

Why they cannot admit the simple truth that dogs DO get things wrong, I do not know. Badly put - not so much, get things wrong, as, woof at all sorts of interesting smells, which the humans then interpret wrongly.

Surely, it was the one thing that Prout didn't need to lie about. She's dead for Christ's sake. Where he killed her is irrelevant.

Tests carried out on the body of a woman murdered by her husband then buried on the farm they shared have failed to establish how she died.

The remains of Kate Prout were discovered in woodland on Red Hill Farm, in Redmarley, Gloucestershire, last month.

Her husband Adrian Prout, 49, was convicted of her murder in February last year despite her body never having been found.

But following a dramatic prison confession, a body was found in Cobhill Woods on Prout's farm on November 24.

The remains were taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and on November 25 they were identified from dental records as belonging to Mrs Prout.

The inquest into 55-year-old Mrs Prout’s death was opened and adjourned at Gloucestershire Coroner's Court.

The court heard that a post-mortem examination has been carried out, but further tests are due to be carried out by pathologists, including on part of Mrs Prout's larynx.

Coroner's officer Terry Onions said: "The cause of death is unascertained, but initial results do not negate Mr Prout's account of her death (to police)."

Coroner David Dooley said he would release Mrs Prout's body in 28 days for burial or cremation, allowing time for any parties involved in the case to request a second post-mortem examination.

He added if that if there were not such requests the body would be released earlier.

The coroner's office was contacted by police after Prout admitted the murder to his fiancee, Debbie Garlick, and took detectives to the location where he buried her.

Police used specialist forensic experts and dogs trained to locate decomposed bodies in the search for the former teacher.




The last time anyone heard from Mrs Prout was at 3.29pm on November 5 2007, when she called her bank, First Direct.

During the trial at Bristol Crown Court last year, jurors heard that Mrs Prout had confronted her husband with an increased divorce demand the day before she went missing.

He had offered her a settlement of £600,000 but, after discussions with accountants, she decided to demand £800,000.

A jury found him guilty of murder and he was jailed for life.

Speaking after Mrs Prout's remains were found, her older brother, Richard Wakefield, said the years since she went missing had been like a "prison sentence".

The 61-year-old farmer, who lives near Stroud, added that they would finally be able to lay his sister to rest and move on from the traumatic events of the last four years.

The inquest was adjourned and Mr Dooley said a full inquest may not be necessary because a criminal conviction has taken place.

So in theory he could have appealed be let out, and then her body found. And he would have not been convicted as there is no cause of death. The most he would have faced is denying a person a proper funeral
