Besides, who would need to stick probes in the sand when Gerry is supposed to have had all of five minutes to dig a hole. Unless he had an excavator in his golf bag.

Seriously, proper LE and forensic people do indeed use probes to release any foul reek in areas where they have reason to believe corpses may be buried a good way below the surface.

But your point about Evil Gerry only having minutes to dispose of his golf bag/hide his eldest daughter under a boat/in reeds/ down a ravine makes even more of a nonsense of Gonc suddenly deciding he used 'probes' because he's seen Grissom doing that.

There is NO ravine there. Have been personally in 2010 and looked. Have searched GEarth for almost 2 hours. Very small depression with no vegetation so no cover, but nothing that could remotely be described as a ravine. IMO of course !!

Is it all make believe? Nobody normally goes up there; it is too big a climb especially in the hot tourist type weather. Who is going to check? The place is almost isolated. Too scratchy except on the paths and apart from the Obel;isque and the view, nothing to commend it ... nothing.
