IMO, that has a lot to do with it; they seem totally incapable of thinking for themselves - they fall for Pied Pipers every single time.

Look at the way they fawned over Birch, till it was obvious even to them that he was another conman. Did they apologise for echoing his demands that Murat's garden be dug up yet again?

Not a bit of it - they started thrashing round for ways to blame the McCanns.

It's as if they have some sort of herd instinct, to not only be wrong, but nasty with it?

When I first came on the McCann scene I must admit to being gobsmacked by what I read on sky etc. I have a trained analytical mind; I read up the case and then sat down and made a list of pros and cons re the McCanns being involved. My observations and the list reinforced my conclusion that I was a 'pro'; I could not marry up what had happened with what followed. Once I understood they had been unmade as arguidos I knew that my list was right - no police force would walk away if they thought there was the remotest chance of guilt or involvement. Now, I cite this as an example of basic sensible reasoning. I know you and others originally thought them guilty, but all of you have 'made a list' and realised things did not add up. You stood up and admitted you were wrong, but many people do not have that ability; they are afraid of the next man/woman, and in some cases their fear is well-grounded and understandable. LL

I had never, ever come across people who constantly lie as naturally as breathing, the way all the haters and forkers do.

It simply did not occur to me that, for example, if someone said the police were doing such-and-such, that they had made the whole thing up for their own ends. I took it for granted that they wouldn't tell endless lies about so serious a matter.

And they are still doing it - look at the Birch business. Look at HideHo's dire, clumsy propaganda videos.

The entire anti-McCann campaign is built on lies, and kept going with lies - why, I don't know, but it certainly isn't for the good of Madeleine McCann or any other child.

It is indeed appropriate that their cult hero is Amaral, the disgraced ex-policeman with a criminal conviction for LYING.

They are clutching at straws, anyone who comes up with a theory, however far-fetched is one of those straws. And, let's face it, people really never seem to see through a con, do they? LL

It would not have made a scrap of difference if The McCanns had not been made Arguidos.
Bearing in mind that it was Amaral and Co Thugs who motivated that, and that Rebelo later said that it was hasty, Amaral would still have been sacked and still gone on to write a book. The disgrace of The McCanns being made Arguidos was simply because The Law was changing some four days later after which a much larger balance of proof was needed. So the haste alone has much to say for Amaral's Case, or lack of.
But The Nasties would still be at it. They would still be telling lies. And they would still be hoping that Madeleine is dead because it's all they have got to support their vile theories.

I don't know about anyone else but I think that Video does far more for The McCanns than it does for The Nasties.
I think HiDeHo should make more Videos like that one.

I think she sees herself as some kind of Leni Riefenstahl of the Gonc Cult, Sabot, but they are always so bad, and so error-riddled, they are hilarious.

My favorite was that Christmas video thingy dedicated to Gonc - it was beyond funny. I especially liked the messages that praised his honesty, when he has a criminal conviction for perjury.
