Re: EURO 2012 MATCH RESULTS
I am relying on LL for updates as I am actually watching a documentary about the Siege of Vienna. I am not supporting any team, due to me being a jinx.

Re: EURO 2012 MATCH RESULTS
Germany being outplayed by Italy. Balotelli now scored twice and he is only 21. Makes Rooney look like a pub player.

Yep...still 45 minutes to play....I really hope the game will decide who the winner is, not penalties, they just turn me off.

A bit of a surprise, Greenink? It sounds as if it was a better match than some. And no penalties..

Re: EURO 2012 MATCH RESULTS
Not a great match. Germany were completely outplayed. Italy were extremely good and a pleasure to watch.
One thing to take from it may be that England may not have been quite as bad as they looked the other night.

Got to give it to them. Spain are a wonderful team at the moment and have been for a few years.

Re: EURO 2012 MATCH RESULTS
Have to hand it to these Olympics, they may well bringing nations together in sporting harmony, etc., but they aren't going down any too well in the host nation.
Not surprisingly, Londoners who are getting ground-to-air missiles stuck on top of their homes have started legal action, other Londoners are up in arms about the disruption to boring things like them getting to their places of employment, and non-Londoners feel as if its got little to do with the 'provinces' apart from things like police resources being diverted.
And business sponsors are getting up everyone's nose by plugging the Olympics at every possible chance.

Re: EURO 2012 MATCH RESULTS
Have I mentioned, I HATE the Olympic logo?
I find it jagged, aggressive and ugly, and reminiscent of SS flashes.
