Mirror fails to grovel to Bennett, LOLOL

It's the moment we've all been waiting for since, oh, yesterday evening at least.

Yet again, the media has failed to do as they are told by a forker or hounder.

Somewhere in the depth of the Mirror, this lurks:

I think that bit in the Mirror was called 'clarification'?

IN reference to a story in the Daily Mirror, (page 29, Oct 25) Tony Bennett has asked us to record his position that he has undertaken to the High Court not to repeat allegations that the parents of Madeleine McCann are guilty of, or are suspected of, causing the death of their daughter, but has never made that accusation himself.

It makes it clear that Bennett promised NOT to make allegations like that. I wonder what they thought of all those screenshots of him doing that very thing?

Not to mention his desecration of Silent Night.

They have to say that because there is nothing itemised in their Accounts to show how much they have spent on Legal Fees. Tony Bennet is also facing a Law Suit from Ed Smethurst , who knows, just as the McCanns know they have no chance of being paid any award.

BENNETT HAS ALREADY LOST THE CASE SMETHURST BROUGHT AGAINST HIM.

BENNETT HAD TO MAKE A TWO AND A HALF THOUSAND POUND DONATION TO THE FIND MADELEINE FUND - MR SMETHURST WANTED HIM TO DO THAT INSTEAD OF PAYING HIM DAMAGES.

BENNETT HAS GOT A BILL FOR OVER £50,000 FOR THAT BIT OF LIBEL AND IS CURRENTLY TRYING TO DODGE PAYING IT.

I was always content to give that particular undertaking, since I had neither alleged that the Drs McCann had caused Madeleine's death, nor did I intend to say so.

There is however the separate issue of the Daily Mirror continuing to run their inaccurate headline on their website, which makes the same false claim against me. I have now written to the Mirror again about that.

Let us at least give the Daily Mirror credit for covering the issue, and let us with our emails encourage them, politely, to give more coverage to alternative views of what really happened to Madeleine.

justme, I have re-posted this news item from the Daily Mirror, simply because the words I've highlighted in blue are untrue.

I have never said that the McCanns caused the death of Madeleine.

So there will be an immediate complaint by me to the Mirror, and if they don't publish a correction straightaway, there'll be a complaint to the Press Complaints Commission.
