People sue. sometimes the people they are suing offer to Settle out of Court for less than is being demanded. The McCanns are not greedy people. They have Settled before. This is perfectly normal.
If The McCanns don't get an agreement the case will go back to Court. Simple.

The McCanns have already gathered more than a million euros on sales of the book in reporting the disappearance of little Madeleine in Praia da Luz



According to the 'Daily Mail', the book, released in May 2011 - the day that the missing child would outo years - has revenues of 880 000 euros tax free and is giving a new breath to the bottom to find help McCanns' daughter.
