Interesting....really should set alarm bells off in Bennett's head

Many many times when I've discussed the case with people who have never looked behind the headlines they are shocked, even outraged by my views. "Surely they have been through enough already?", "How could you doubt them, no-one could keep up a lie like that for years and years", "Why don't you let it rest and leave them alone?", and so on. I can see why it looks like that.

Obviously people who know him...people he should have listened to.

That's a good point, murafan. He can dragoon as many socks as he wants, to tell him how wonderful he is, it isn't going to change the truth at the heart of this.

That he is totally, completely wrong, and in the wrong. It would be interesting to know who tried to knock some sense into him.

Wasn't she with him when he completely caved in at Kirwan's? Didn't she see him totally capitulate and of his onw volition give a solemn and legally binding promise to no more accuse the Mccanns of the murder of their child?

Is the issue whether they did (they didn't) or whether he legally swore to save his own skin, to never again state they did? Wasn't there some subsequent obsequious email with futher offerings from him?

Didn't "The McCann's Stalker" cry all the way home after having paid for his Big Mac?

Did he breach the terms of the legal agreement now claimed to have been breached?

I quite agree the "ham" should not be in court, he should be in jail, they waited long enough for him to do what he said he would.

Just so the hounders are aware of something here.

1.... Bennett is still not posting up entire e-mails between himself and Carter Ruck, details which include him asking questions which he hopes will bring settlement out of court, and to which it has been explained to him why not...that is because....


2...... Carter Ruck cannot stop the case going ahead. It is a court matter, not like Gonc's Libel trial. This is in effect a criminal trial, although it is being dealt with by court, in a public trial. Only Bennett will be able to call a halt to it, by either saying he is guilty, or not guilty.

3..... Why is Bennett not posting bits up, that shows he is doing this??

I suspect that after Wednesday, if Bentit has his liberty, his botle will be asent. He'll be posting nothing.

How can they marry religion to what they do? If they and Bennett believe in a vengeful God then they really need to watch out. And it will bother their consciences one fine day, I can promise them that.
Bennett can't win no matter what illogic he calls on to convince himself. He has stalked, harassed and abused The McCanns for nearly six years. This just isn't normal.
