It seems to me that Aud is the enabler person. Dean was the victim so who is the perpetrator?

Letter warns Amy and Dean’s da

THE grieving dad of missing teen Amy Fitzpatrick is under threat from the psycho who killed her, a secret letter has revealed.
The hand-written note — sent to the Irish Sun last week — warned Christopher Fitzpatrick, 47, could be killed because of his campaign to find his girl, 15.
Amy disappeared from her home in Spain’s Costa del Sol on New Year’s Day in 2008 and has not been seen since.
And the schoolgirl’s crusading aunt, Christine Kenny, was also warned she could be targeted over her campaign to unravel the mystery disappearance.
Her heartbroken family gave the letter to gardai in Coolock, north Dublin, last Friday.
One chilling extract from the note read: “They will try to get rid of you (Christopher) and your sister next. All of Spain and Ireland are behind you.”
Despite fears of Amy’s killer striking again, Christopher vowed to find his daughter.
The dad said: “The person who took Amy can come after me all they want — they’ve already destroyed my life.
“This letter proves there are people out there — including in England and Spain — who know something and I would beg them to come forward.
He added: “We know that the person who took Amy is a dangerous psychopath who preyed on an innocent child.”
And he vowed to keep the campaign to find Amy going, firmly stating: “I will keep on going until I find my beautiful daughter and I know we will one day have her home.”
It’s the second time that a letter has been sent referring to the schoolgirl’s disappearance over the last month.
Another document — which was sent to the Irish Embassy in Madrid — revealed how Amy felt under threat TWO years before she vanished.
On the night of her disappearance, Amy had been in her friend Ashley Rose’s place, a short walk from her own.
The pair were babysitting Rose’s younger brother at the house in Malaga, Spain, and Amy left to go home at 10pm.
However, the pretty brunette teen disappeared, sparking a campaign to find her in 2008.
That drive involved hundreds of people and saw her family members searching for her across Europe and northern Africa, but to no avail.
Meanwhile, Christopher also blasted his son’s killer for going on a bender mere minutes after the fatal stabbing.
He slammed Dave Mahon, 42, for leaving his son to die, lying in a pool of his own blood — while he went off to the pub.
Mahon, who is the partner of Dean’s mum Audrey, 45, has admitted killing the lad, 23, five weeks ago, but claims he was acting in self defence.
Grieving Christopher asked: “What sort of man goes to the pub minutes after plunging a knife into someone?
“How could he not have known the damage this brutal action could have caused?
“I keep awake at night thinking that my son should never have gone up to that flat.
“Mahon is nothing but a coward and a child killer.”
Speaking of the tragic event, he asked: “Why didn’t he stay with him and comfort him?”
He added: “He knew what he did and yet he still went drinking. It’s disgusting.”

who the heck would "nip out for a pint" at 11pm?
who the heck would "nip out for a pint" after sticking a knife in their girlfriend's son?
It was a set up, they lured him there, Dave n his cronies, argument ensued and he was stabbed. The whole think stinks to high heaven

New leads in the search for missing teenager Amy Fitzpatrick
EXCLUSIVE: New leads in the search for missing teenager Amy Fitzpatrick
PUBLISHED: FEBRUARY 5, 2014 AT 8:00 AM • LAST EDITED: FEBRUARY 5, 2014 AT 11:31 AM
DETECTIVES are set to scour a remote hillside for the body of missing Amy Fitzpatrick, the Olive Press can reveal.
The area of wasteland, not far from the home of the teenager on the Costa del Sol, is likely to be searched in the next few days.
It comes after Amy’s aunt in Ireland Christine Kenny received an anonymous tip off about where her niece ‘had been buried’, following her disappearance on New Year’s Day 2008.
“It was very very precise and came from a lady in Ireland,” she told the Olive Press.
“She refused to give her name and withheld her number, but she was quite certain.
“She said you are the person I need to give this message to and she told me the spot that Amy is buried. She said she had known about it for some time.
“She was roaring and crying on the phone. In fact, she was blabbing.”
Kenny, who is close to Amy’s father Christopher, added: “The Gardai and Guardia Civil are both now involved and I have been told not to give away the exact spot.
“But I can tell you it is not far from where she lived.”
Amy had gone missing from her home in Riviera del Sol, near Calahonda, after a night out with friends nearby.
As the Olive Press revealed at the time, the 15-year-old had been unhappy and was not getting on with her mother or stepfather Dave Mahon, a local estate agent.
She had not been attending school and sources revealed she had even sometimes slept rough in a nearby park.
Despite nationwide and global appeals from both sides of the family, she has not been found.
Added her aunt: “I really hope they start searching now and that they get there in time before anything is moved.”
The news comes as it emerges that the mother of Amy and her partner Mahon have been living on the Costa del Sol for the last month.
Killing
This is despite Mahon being expected to be charged over the death of Amy’s brother Dean last year.
An inquest into the killing outside Mahon’s Dublin flat has been postponed until March 14.
He has admitted to stabbing Dean, but claims it was in self-defence. He has not yet been charged.
Olive Press sources reveal that the pair have been drinking regularly at a string of bars near the Los Jarales camp site, in Calahonda.
They have been seen a number of times at Los Ktetos and have a new puppy.
Mahon recently told the Irish Press the reason for the break was to help nurse Audrey back to full health. “She is physically and mentally exhausted” he said.
As we went to press, it was reported that Audrey needs an urgent liver transplant and had been rushed to the Costa del Sol hospital for tests. Doctors reported that her enzyme count was 2,750 – more than 100 times the normal level.

Many thanks for the update, Max.
Yes, the comments are fascinating, aren't they, Sabot? Aud'n'Dave are a well-matched pair, due to both of them being toxic.

Re: DAVE MAHON CHARGED WITH MURDERING DEAN FITZPATRICK, BROTHER OF MISSING AMY
Aud is indeed claiming her liver is packing up-
http://www.sundayworld.com/top-stories/missing-amys-mum-needs-new-liver
THE mother of missing Amy Fitzpatrick faces the prospect of dying without finding out what happened to her daughter after she was diagnosed with potentially fatal liver disease.
Audrey (45) Fitzpatrick is in a Spanish hospital where she was admitted this week, fearing that she will die if she doesn’t get a new liver.
She is in Spain with her partner Dave Mahon (42), who is facing jail over the death of Audrey’s eldest child.
Father-of-one Dean Fitzpatrick was stabbed in a scuffle with his mum’s boyfriend in May.
Dave was arrested by gardai and later released without charge but he is awaiting the outcome of a decision of the DPP to see if he will go to jail.
This week he spoke of Audrey’s distress after she fell ill.
“Audrey woke up with severe pain, and had pressure on all her organs,” he said.
“There was a build up of fluid in and around her stomach that was so bad she looked as if she was heavily pregnant.”
The serious disease could kill the distraught mum who has not seen her daughter Amy since she vanished in 2008 after she had moved to the Costa del Sol with Audrey, Dave and Dean.
Amy, who was only 15 at the time, was last seen walking from a friend’s house near Mijas at 10pm on New Year’s Day, 2008.
In 2011, Sunday World revealed how Amy described bust-ups with her ‘stepfather’ Dave Mahon in her poignant personal diaries.
We also obtained the 15 year-old’s heartbreaking last letter in which she also talked about her fights with the man who stabbed her brother to death.
I simply cannot imagine what could be the cause of her illness.

Re: DAVE MAHON CHARGED WITH MURDERING DEAN FITZPATRICK, BROTHER OF MISSING AMY
have they got any money or are they using benefit money to fund their life in Spain?
let's hope the police have the sense to keep the spot where they think Amy may be under observation if auld Davey boy is on the loose over there.

Re: DAVE MAHON CHARGED WITH MURDERING DEAN FITZPATRICK, BROTHER OF MISSING AMY
I've no idea who's funding those two, Rhodes - I doubt if Irish taxpayers will be too happy if they're footing the bill.
Dave rather seems the kind to have income he can't quite account for.
Ah, I checked the comments:

Looks like it is indeed Irish taxpayers:

Of interest is that the pair of them (well, more him than her – cause he always talks more) have banged on and on about how much money they have lost (nothing to do with the property crash, of course!) in looking for Amy. Since back in Ireland they said they are barely surviving on Social Welfare payments that “we” the tax payers are paying here in Ireland. My question is, eh, how come they can afford a nice Sojourn in Spain?? Was Audrey back to “Sign On” for Social Welfare purposes and take in Deans first Inquest hearing while she happened to be in Ireland? I wish I didn’t have to work for a living and could party away in Spain on Welfare payments, ……

Missing Amy Fitzpatrick’s mum flees Costa del Sol hospital
• SERIOUSLY ILL: AUDREY FITZPATRICK
AUDREY Fitzpatrick, the seriously ill mother of missing Amy Fitzpatrick, has discharged herself from a hospital on the Costa de Sol.
It is reported she suffered a ‘panic attack’ on the eve of Amy’s 22nd birthday and fled her bed in nightclothes and with needles still in her arms.
Her partner Dave Mahon said she had got a taxi home in the middle of the night.
Spanish doctors have told Audrey she will die if she does not undergo a liver transplant.
Fitzpatrick and Mahon now plan to return to Ireland to get a second opinion.
Mahon has said Audrey will not go back to hospital in Spain.
