What proof is there that Gary Hagland ever worked for The McCanns? No Contract and no Salary. And no Confidentiality Clause. The McCanns might be naive but Brian Kennedy isn't.

Why would a supposedly professional man not have a contract and not have a salary of some kind? This doesn't make sense. No one can afford to exist on Expenses. Especially as this Hagland character doesn't seem to have done very much.

It would be very helpful to both of them if Hagland didn't have a contract, Lily. Or a confidentiality clause. Or a salary. No proof he ever worked for them. Expenses are easily disposed of. But can you imagine a hard nosed millionaire employing anyone under these circumstances?

I am beginning to wonder if Bennett trawled The Internet looking for a Money Laundering expert. Someone known to be good at spotting this. And then cloned him with that letter to The BBC, which was obviously plagiarised from Bull Shit.

Please, anyone feel free to use my ideas as I do tend to waffle a bit in trying to explain what I mean.

So, he met Gerry McCann in a park in Rothley. Fascinating. He never went to their house. He never met Kate McCann, but she sent him am email on Christmas Eve, saying absolutely nothing at all.

A video clip of former Foreign Minster David Miliband being interviewed in Praia da Luz on the morning of Saturday 8 September 2007 was recently placed on the forum. Some surprise was expressed at his being there the very morning the McCanns were being made arguidos, and questions were raised as to why he was there at all.

So I recently asked the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Freedom of Information Section:

Please supply the following information during the period 1 August to 20 September 2007, together with:

a) Actual Dates

b) Names of countries and cities/towns visited

c) Express purpose of the visit.

I have received this reply, dated today (2 July):

I confirm that the FCO does hold information relevant to your request and the details are as listed below:

10 August, visiting Florence, Italy: purpose: ‘Bilateral visit’

4-7 September, visiting Bucharest, Romania – Istanbul, Turkey – Rome, Italy – Madrid, Spain: purpose: ‘Bilateral visits’

7-8 September, visiting Viana do Castelo, Portugal: purpose: ‘GYMNICH (informal gathering of EU Foreign Ministers)’.

So it seems he was in Praia da Luz talking to the press on the morning of 8 September just by the fortuitous chance of also being at an informal meeting in Portugal of some other EU Foreign Ministers

Which naturally, led to predictable conspiraloon speculation from his devoted hounders.....especially the famously-stupid yoyo:


Rather the pertinent question would be: who has the power to persuade him to go to PDL 300 miles away from his official meeting place for the sake of a pair of doctors embroiled in a mess of their creation?

You really have to wonder why the interference from high level politicians - what is so special about this case?

There's just one tiny, teensy snag.
