Now, if it was me, I'd be destroying the terrorists' arms dumps and other resources, and cutting their supply lines from Turkey.

Then cauldroning them for the ground troops. Which appears to be pretty much what the Russian air force is doing.

Just let the hilarity of that sink in.

The US just paradropped 50 tons of ammo on pallets into the most dangerous place on the face of the planet with no way of ensuring that it falls into the "right" hands (it goes without saying that the term "right" is meaningless there). Meanwhile, the Russians are dropping bombs on the same extremists who are set to receive the guns the US is dropping.

Of course if it does somehow fall into the “wrong” hands, it wouldn’t be the first time (see Mosul and recall the $500 billion worth of weapons Washington “misplaced” in Yemen) and as we said a few days ago, this is at least great news for the military-industrial complex. It means more "terrorist attacks" on U.S. "friends and allies", and perhaps even on U.S. soil - all courtesy of the US government supplying the weapons - are imminent.

Your tax dollars at work. Anyone still think we're the good guys?

Heck no.  The military industrial complex will get even more richer than ever though.  I mean, they will have to make more of it.....

Not one single thing about this ongoing clusterf*ck surprises me, Lily. I wouldn't even be surprised if Iran and Israel shouting at each other is strictly for public consumption, as Iran is in the Russia camp, and Netenyahu trotted off to Moscow just before the bombing started to meet with Tsar Vladimir the First.

Setting aside my own opinions on Netenyahu, I don't see Israel being any too pleased at being backstabbed so thoroughly by Washington. We may end up with a Middle East version of MAD, in which Iran and Israel growl at each other constantly, but neither actually does anything stupid....

They're leaving the 'doing stupid things' to Washington.....

We also must not forget the recent trips to DC of Netenyahu and Putin.

Or the UN where:

1. Netenyahu looked fit to be tied when he stared down the other delegates.

2. Putin made a historic speech.

3. Obama said something or other.

Do you know, Lily, I can't actually remember what Obama said? I can recall the highlights of the other mens' speeches, but I cannot remember a word Obama said....

He never seems to say anything statesman like or useful at all.

I even recall Mugabe going on about not being gay, or something, but Obama's speech has made NO impression on me at all....and I doubt if any of the other world leaders paid much heed to him, either.

Honestly, they are mainly waffle, backtracking, lies.  Why remember any of that?

The Iraqi army and volunteer forces discovered US-made military hardware and ammunition, including anti-armor missiles, in terrorists’ positions and trenches captured during the operations in the Fallujah region in Al-Anbar province.
The Iraqi forces found a huge volume of advanced TOW-II missiles from the Takfiri terrorists in al-Karama city of Fallujah.

The missiles were brand new and the ISIL had transferred them to Fallujah to use them against the Iraqi army’s armored units.

Iraqi officials have on different occasions blasted the US and its allies for supplying the ISIL in Syria with arms and ammunition under the pretext of fighting the Takfiri terrorist group.



On Saturday, the Iraqi forces discovered US-made military hardware and ammunition from terrorists in the town of Beiji.

“The military hardware and weapons had been airdropped by the US-led warplanes and choppers for the ISIL in the nearby areas of Beiji,” military sources told FNA.

In February, an Iraqi provincial official lashed out at the western countries and their regional allies for supporting Takfiri terrorists in Iraq, revealing that the US airplanes still continue to airdrop weapons and foodstuff for the ISIL terrorists.

“The US planes have dropped weapons for the ISIL terrorists in the areas under ISIL control and even in those areas that have been recently liberated from the ISIL control to encourage the terrorists to return to those places,” Coordinator of Iraqi popular forces Jafar al-Jaberi told FNA......more at link.

Moscow is "deliberately targeting" U.S.-backed forces in Syria as part of a military campaign that has killed up to 150 CIA-trained rebels, a U.S. official told Fox News.

The claim comes as the U.S. and Russian militaries try to reach an agreement about flight safety in the skies over Syria. Officials from both countries are holding their third videoconference on the issue Wednesday, as U.S.-led coalition and Russian aircraft look to avoid collisions as they launch airstrikes into Syria.

But even as they try to "de-conflict," evidence is mounting that Russia's air campaign is targeting more than just the Islamic State.

"Putin is deliberately targeting our forces," a U.S. official, who is disappointed in the U.S. response to Russia, told Fox News.

"Our guys are fighting for their lives," said the official, estimating up to 150 CIA-trained moderate rebels have been killed by the Russians.

The Obama administration recently ended its troubled program to train select Syrian rebels, but has continued to equip the opposition. Over the weekend, the U.S. military airdropped 50 tons of small arms ammo and grenades in northern Syria.

How would he like it if, say, China hired mercenaries and armed terrorists to overthrow the legal government of the US?

Washington has no bloody business in Syria in the first place. And just look how well arming mujahadeen in Afghanistan worked out for the US.

You know it's bad when even Fox fans back Russia...

Last time I checked, Assad and the Syrian gov is who is recognized by the UN as the one and only valid gov of Syria. If Russia is providing support to the Assad regime, then they're simply assisting what the UN recognizes as the valid government. Perhaps the US should have thought of that before getting into yet another country's messy civil war.
