Possibly because what is in the media WASN'T written by a Team Gonzo spinner and propagandist?

The judge adds that this psychological state is pre-existent to the book, the documentary and the interview and was not caused by the book. Nonetheless, it cannot be reasonable to believe that the book, the documentary and the interview had no effect on the couple, i.e. It had an effect but that is perfectly normal.

Eh? The judge has just ruled that the McCanns were ALREADY upset about various things, and Gonzo's horrid 'book' made it worse.

The hounder has somehow or other managed to interpret that as meaning the McCanns 'lost'. Isn't the word PROVED a bit of a clue to red-hot Researchers like them?

No wonder haters never get anything right.

The judge does note that some of the facts in the book are not complete, and some facts that are in the book are not in the case files, including Jane Tanner's "informal" recognition of Robert Murat.

This is rather funny, actually, watching the remaining Team Gonzo spinners try to hide what a disaster this is for their idol.

It's glaringly obvious they're trying to twist and spin this to suit their own agendas, as they always do. And 'press release'? WTF is the fool babbling about?

Yessss. I like that bit.

I am glad the judge picked up on that; let's hope it's taken further. I also liked:

allowed the judge to conclude that the information contained in the book are presented "some truncated, incomplete or other missing him."

though the legalese has got a bit mangled, obviously. But I think it's safer to trust mangled legalese than spun and edited forkerspeak.

Can we all not spare a thought for Gonc? He must be in hell contemplating how much he will have to part with.
