LL, that's cute. Does your dog go so far as to knock the tv over, Bonny?

We've had a few near-misses, Lily. It's bizarre how some dogs can see TV, but not others....

I have 3 cats, one of whom is a TV addict, watches Mr Bean, Sponge Bob Square Pants and football, one likes a good action or horror film and my brain damaged one loves animal programs. LL

That is wonderful. Although I have been to Islamorada (it is in the Florida Keys), I didn't go to that place.

'They're my babies': The extraordinary moment broody gorilla Koko uses SIGN LANGUAGE to tell trainers she has adopted two tiny cats - because she doesn't have babies of her own
Koko, who lives in Woodside hill in California, adores babies - despite not having mothered any of her own
In celebration of turning 44 years old, the ape's trainer, Francine Patterson, introduced her to litter of kittens
Gorilla, who is famous for 'sign language', was filmed stroking them gently before picking one up for cuddle
She then gestured for one cat to be placed on her head, before later signing that the animals are her babies
Koko, who was born at San Francisco Zoo, has now adopted two of the kittens; it has 'energized her world'

Now a family: According to information provided alongside the video, which was posted to YouTube via the kokoflix account, the gorilla and two of the kittens are now part of one happy family. Above, Koko snuggles up to the grey cat, which she was particularly attached to
All together now - AWWWW!
PS - I would love to know what the kittens are thinking when they first meet their new 'mum'....

That's lovely lily, thanks for sharing. In return I give you a tender story from Berlin Zoo - I can attest this is true as I saw this myself when I visited the zoo around 2003. There is a video as well of the two at home. LL

That's amazing, LL. Koko and the kittens I can understand, not least because she is a vegetarian, but I would have thought the Berlin Zoo cat was taking a great risk of being eaten.
