Re: Shooting in Paris
Sorry, LL, didn't mean to offend, I know they aren't all the same. But whenever one of these scumbag terrorists is finally caught, you can guarantee that an ambulance-chasing Yuman Rites lawyer will be close behind.....

Re: Shooting in Paris
I used to really respect the 'old time' lawyers. Honorable members of any community which we are sure applied to you LL.
Too many newer ones seem so bizarre, if I can say that?

Re: Shooting in Paris
Lawyers and solititors used to be respected and respectable (and some still are, LL ) but a newer generation has been given easy, and lucrative, pickings by the 'human rights' industry, IMO.

Re: Shooting in Paris
Well, everybody deserves a Defence. Nothing to be done about that. Isn't this a right of passage in British Law.

This isn't about any 'defence' though, Sabot, it's a compo job.

Yes, I get that. But I doubt it will work in France. Belgium must please itself. If they wish to pay these Lawyers.

Re: Shooting in Paris
This is actually a perfect example of why I personally prefer it when these scumbags are shot dead, instead of being captured. They ALWAYS start exploiting human rights legislation, like Breivik in Norway, they ALWAYS court publicity, and every single time, it just rubs more salt in the wounds of victims, or of grieving families.

Re: Shooting in Paris
Shooting dead is far too good for them. In my opinion. Incarcerating them will be much more painful in the long term. But only after Due Process.
Whether one likes it or not, we are responsible for our misfits.

Re: Shooting in Paris
I am afraid I don't regard them as 'misfits', Sabot, because that assumes they hold to the same values as we generally do. They deliberately plan out these atrocities, and if taken alive, then play on Western 'justice' for their own advantage, and to further torment people. Unless they are put into something like the US Super-max, then you can be sure they will use every trick in the book to attack the underpinnings of Western society.
Just look at Breivik! Or the carry-on there was to get rid of Hooky Humza - that cost UK taxpayers a fortune in his legal aid, and in ongoing support for his wives and families.
I am not responsible for them - they're responsible for themselves, and if they get a bullet in the head through their own actions, I'll shed no tears.

I won't shed any tears either, Bonny. But that isn't what I meant. Once captured, they have to be dealt with by The Law.
And it is quite surprising of how many of them don't actually want to die for Allah. That is a big win. They don't even stick to the shite they spout. They let down every principle that they purport to live by.
And No, I am not a bleeding heart. I simply do not support judicial murder.
