British anarchists were among 35 people in police custody in Calais after leading about 350 migrants who broke through police lines and invaded the port, forcing it to close for several hours.
Up to 50 people stormed on board the P&O Spirit of Britain ferry, prompting renewed calls from the mayor of Calais and the head of the port for the demolition of the nearby “Jungle” camp.
Police arrested 35 people including British activists and 26 migrants on Saturday, sources told the Telegraph.
Fifteen in all are still in custody.

The violence sparked after a demonstration over conditions in the shanty town where up to 5,000 migrants are living in tents and makeshift huts while they try to reach Britain.
Masked British agitators from the No Borders group incited migrants to invade the port after the peaceful demonstration, local sources said.
They were photographed on the deck of the ferry.

Nine of those arrested were members of No Borders, the interior minister, Bernard Cazeneuve, said in a statement.
He added the government was “fully determined to maintain public order in Calais, in the face of the migration situation”

It was unclear how many Britons were arrested because all activists refused to give police their names or nationalities, Gilles Debove of the Calais police union said.
They face various charges including public disorder and trespass.
“I cannot understand why British citizens come to Calais to incite migrants to break the law and defy the French authorities,” Mr Debove said....more at link.

A Tunisian man, who has been branded ‘the most hated man in Sweden’ after video showed him attacking a woman in front of her two young children and then spitting on her at a metro station in Stockholm, is being deported to Denmark, Expressen.se reports.

The attack took place on January 5 at Gamla Stan station in the Swedish capital. The video footage shows the man kicking and punching the victim after she attempted to prevent him stealing from the handbag of an elderly woman.

To be sent to Denmark
The police went public with the video on Thursday and on Friday he was identified and arrested. It is reported that he sought asylum in Sweden in October but that his application was rejected and the Swedish migration agency Migrationsverket has decided to send him back to the last country he was in before entering Sweden, which is Denmark.

It was staff at Migrationsverket itself who identified the man from the video footage and alerted police to his whereabouts in a centre for refused asylum-seekers in the Stockholm suburb of Märsta. The man is currently in police custody awaiting trial, but denies the charges.

Ekstrabladet reports that, according to Ekrem Güngör, the man’s lawyer, the Danish authorities have confirmed to the Swedish authorities that they are ready to receive him.

Unfortunately, they forgot to factor one thing in.

The absolutely ghastly behaviour - encouraged by their own totalitarian belief system - of the 'refugees' flooding into Europe. Fewer and fewer European could give a flying one about any of the 'refugees' now, and never mind letting more in, they'd like last year's arrivals chucked out.

A young woman stabbed in a brawl on Monday at a center for underage unaccompanied refugees in southern Sweden has died of her injuries.
Mölndal city police were alerted about a quarrel that broke out in a local center for children and adolescents at around 8am on Monday, local media say. A 22-year-old female staff member was taken to Sahlgrenska Hospital with a severe injury, but later died.

“The woman who was taken to Sahlgrenska Hospital this morning died because of the injuries she received in connection with the altercation, relatives are informed,” police spokesman Christer Fuxborg said, as quoted by Aftonbladet newspaper.

A preliminary investigation has been launched, police said. The event will be classified either as murder or manslaughter, depending on the suspect’s intentions.

The attacker, who lives at the facility, was arrested and remains in custody. His identity has not yet been confirmed, police say. It is unclear how many residents were involved in the altercation. Six to seven other people are reported to have been detained for questioning, however the authorities are currently facing issues with the language barrier.

“It is difficult for us to communicate with each other, as some of them don’t speak Swedish. We are about to find out what happened,” Fuxborg said, as quoted by Göteborgs-Posten.

Amal Hassan, a colleague of the deceased, arrived at the scene as soon as she heard about what had happened.

“I am shocked. All who live here are very nice. There has never been trouble before,” she told Göteborgs-Posten.

The center in Mölndal is a private facility and had been running smoothly since its opening in September 2015. Ten adolescent refugees currently live there.

I am afraid that European women are learning the hard way to stay well away from these animals. Which is an insult to animals.

The head of the UDI's returns unit, Katinka Hartmann, said the agency is unsure exactly why the applications were withdrawn because interviews are rarely conducted with those who drop their requests. However, she speculated that many asylum seekers may have had unrealistic expectations.

“We assume that many of them had an unrealistic and erroneous perception of the types of opportunities they would have in Norway. Probably those who do not have a need for protection realize that there is little to gain in having their asylum applications processed here,” she told Vårt Land.

She went on to explain that the majority of those who withdraw their applications return to their home countries....etc.

A young asylum seeker on Monday allegedly stabbed and killed a female employee of the refugee centre for unaccompanied minors where he was staying in western Sweden, police said.

The 22-year-old victim was rushed to a nearby hospital but died of her wounds, police said.

Police would not comment on the identity or nationality of the alleged attacker, except to say that he was a young man who was a resident of the centre for 14 to 17-year-olds.

He was under arrest for murder.

"These kinds of calls are becoming more and more common. We're dealing with more incidents like these since the arrival of so many more refugees from abroad," police spokesman Thomas Fuxborg said.

The attack came as National Police Commissioner Dan Eliasson on Monday requested 4,100 additional officers and support staff to help fight terrorism, carry out migrant deportations and police asylum accommodations.

"We are forced to respond to many disturbances in asylum reception centres. In some places, this takes significant police resources. This was not the case six months ago and it means that we won't be able to respond as effectively in other areas," Eliasson told Swedish news agency TT.

Sweden, like the rest of Europe, has been struggling with the continent's biggest migration crisis since World War II.

A country of 9.8 million, Sweden took in more than 160,000 asylum seekers in 2015, which put it among the EU states with the highest proportion of refugees per capita.

It has since tightened its asylum rules to curb the migrant flow.

I doubt if that poor girl had any idea that she was even in danger, Lily. She will have taken the multi-kulti Kool-Aid, and believed that anyone objecting to this invasion was a 'racist'.

It will never have dawned on her that it has nothing to do with skin colour, that she would have been quite safe with, say, Sikhs or Syrian Christians. It will never have dawned on her that she was working with aggressive men who despise all women, and in particular European women.

Sadly, she's joined the growing list of European women who have been murdered/raped/both by these creatures.
