He's the only one with a grain of common sense. But he's a bit wrong about one thing:

“What should happen is the United States and a bunch of other countries should get together—funded by the Gulf States, because they have tremendous amounts of money—and we should build a safe zone,” Trump said. “It should be in Syria. Or a number of safe zones, in different parts of Syria, where you build until the war ends and they can go back—if they want to—they can go back to where they want to be. But, absolutely, we should not be taking undocumented people into this country.

There's already a safe zone in Syria, with schools, hospitals, swimming pools, cafes, churches, etc - it's the area President Assad has managed to hang on to, despite the best efforts of that PoS McCain and his terrorist chums.

He should be asking why all these 'refugees' haven't joined the other loyal Syrians displaced by fighting, in the safe zone IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY.

In the wake of the blasts in Brussels, the government ordered a heightened terrorism alert in Hungary at the second highest level. Related measures include dispatching patrolling officers and armoured vehicles to Liszt Ferenc International Airport, Interior Minister Sándor Pintér said. Hungary’s TEK counter-terrorism force has been dispatched to patrol the square in front of Parliament as well as metro stations in the capital. The second-level alert will remain in effect until further details are available to clarify the circumstances in Brussels and until information is obtained about what can be expected in other European countries, said Pintér.

The national police headquarters said a control and transit point was being set up at the road leading to the Liszt Ferenc airport. Additional police units were being dispatched to patrol public spaces outside the airport and the passenger lounge where explosives experts will also carry out checks aided by sniffer dogs, the national police headquarters said. Hungary’s TEK counter-terrorism force said the force is stepping up its intelligence activities and strengthening the protection of critical infrastructure.

In the wake of Tuesday’s deadly bombing that killed at least 34 people, Brussels officials may regret an advertisement two months ago ridiculing the idea the city was a center of Islamic radicalism.

VisitBrussels, the city’s tourism department, crafted the #CallBrussels campaign in an effort to disassociate the city with Islamic terror after residents were linked to the November, 2015, Paris attacks and other extremist plots.

As part of the campaign, VisitBrussels set up telephones across the city and invited people to call them in order to speak with Brussels passersby. It then used these calls to create a video touting Brussels as a peaceful, welcoming city

“After Brussels was linked to terror plots, the international media portrayed the city as a warzone,” the ad said. “We wanted to change this perception with an honest answer.”
The ad then shows interactions with (supposedly) random Belgians, who assure callers the city is completely safe.

After Tuesday’s bombings killed several dozen Brusseleirs, some people on Twitter quickly brought up the ad for ridicule.

Medical student Tarik Hassane, 22, known to his friends as "The Surgeon" planned to shoot police officers and members of the Parachute Regiment in West London in a drive-by attack on a moped.

The son of a Saudi diplomat, Hassane pleaded guilty to conspiracy to murder and preparation of terrorist acts during a trial at the Old Bailey.

Hassane, from Ladbroke Grove, was part of a wider network of jihadis who are believed to have become radicalised in west London, including Mohammed Emwazi, better known as the IS militant 'Jihadi John.'

It is a long way from video footage uploaded to YouTube in 2011, which shows Hassane campaigning against violence in a film made by the Making Communities Work and Grow youth group near his London home....etc.

This word – most commonly associated with hard-left politics, trades union activism, socialism, and poseur indie rock bands – has come to mean very little in reality. In effect, “standing in solidarity” with someone now means that you have observed the situation, changed your Facebook profile picture accordingly, and patted yourself on the back.

And if like dead bodies Facebook profile pictures lost heat, it would be accurate to say that the Tricolores that adorned the social media profiles of many had hardly become cold before we were all changing the colours of the bands on the flags.
