First polls closed. Vermont was called for Clinton, as expected, but Trump has two big wins-
And Kentucky has gone 70/30 for Trump.

Re: Donald J. Trump wins Presidency
Just waiting for the Guardian, BBC, Salon, etc, to declare a week of official progressive mourning.....
Meanwhile, in the real world....
Happy young people celebrate being saved from Hillary's wars with Russia, Iran, China, and anyone else Soros doesn't like.
Millions of people in small nations around the world are joining in the rejoicing as the fear of regime change in the name of 'democracy' by the war-mongering witch is lifted.

Oh, Hillary didn't even face her own tearful supporters - probably too busy drinking and smashing plates on Bill's head.
Instead, she sent out the spirit-cooking Podesta out to tell them to go home.

Re: Donald J. Trump wins Presidency
Aw, what a lovely, gracious speech from the new president-elect - I swear The Donald had a tear in his eye. He was especially gracious to Hillary, who conceded to him on the phone.
And what a pleasure it is to hear a president being positive, saying he wants the US to be friends with other nations, instead of threatening to bomb all and sundry. And to make it clear he wants ALL Americans to come back together, instead of being divided as they have been.
He has a lot of work in front of him to sort out the mess, but if he can pull off this stunning victory, I suspect he can do just about anything.

Re: Donald J. Trump wins Presidency
well, well, a celebrity as President of that country? now, that country will become a celebrity stage where those who are his followers will benefit of having a celebrity deciding the way of how to rule that country. but those who are Clinton´s followers will have a hard time, but if Trump thinks that it will be an easy task for him he is wrong because he cannot rule without the Senate which surely will vote against certain measures which will undermine the country´s reputation (welcome to the administration of stooges) this may seem a bit strange for everyone at Jatyk, but although I don´t understand how can the American voters vote in a guy who has no political experience (I repeat: I´m no follower of neither Clinton nor Trump, because I´m no citizen of that country) how can someone expect that Trump will conduct the destiny of that country in a way that the Americans expect, if he have no political experience? oh well, time will tell if he was the right choice or not.

Well, when you look at the mess politicians have made......remember, Trump runs a huge, world-wide business empire, employing thousands of people in all sorts of countries. I think we may be in for a pleasant surprise.

Re: Donald J. Trump wins Presidency
My friends, this was taken from Sky News:
http://news.sky.com/story/us-election-donald-trump-elected-president-of-united-states-10650868
in my opinion, this is important:
Mr Trump paid tribute to his rival for a hard-fought campaign and promised to be "president to all Americans"
In a message to the world, Mr Trump said we will get along with all other nations... willing to get along with us."

Putin congratulates Trump, hopes to work on intl issues – Kremlin
In a message to Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed confidence that the dialogue between Moscow and Washington, in keeping with each other’s views, meets the interests of both Russia and the US.
Putin also expressed hope over the joint efforts on bringing Russian-American relations out of their current crisis.
e Russian leader noted in the message that he hopes to address some “burning issues that are currently on the international agenda, and search for effective responses to the challenges of the global security,” RIA Novosti reported.
On top of it, Putin has expressed confidence that “building a constructive dialogue between Moscow and Washington, based on principles of equality, mutual respect and each other's positions, meets the interests of the peoples of our countries and of the entire international community.”
Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin has also expressed hope that Trump’s victory in the presidential election will help pave the way for a more constructive dialogue between Moscow and Washington.
“The current US-Russian relations cannot be called friendly. Hopefully, with the new US president a more constructive dialogue will be possible between our countries,” he said.
“The Russian Parliament will welcome and support any steps in this direction,” Volodin added on Wednesday....etc.
Thank God the grown-ups are taking control again, and there is a chance of ending hostilities which were a danger to every single one of us.

Re: Donald J. Trump wins Presidency
https://www.theguardian.com/politics/blog/live/2016/nov/09/britain-reacts-to-shock-us-result-politics-live
Leanne Wood, the leader of the Welsh nationalist party Plaid Cymru, said in a statement that Donald Trump must now withdraw some of the “appalling” things he said during the campaign.
Oh, I am sure the world's most newly powerful man will be rushing to do the bidding of a Welsh moonbat.
Northern Ireland’s first minister, the DUP’s Arlene Foster, and her deputy first minister, Sinn Fein’s Martin McGuinness, have both congratulated Donald Trump.
Foster said:
I congratulate Donald Trump on his historic election as the 45th President of the United States of America.
We are a small region but we are fortunate to have strong historical, economic and political ties to the United States.
Northern Ireland has developed a mutually beneficial relationship with the United States and I look forward to working with Donald Trump’s administration to continue this.
As our largest inward investor the United States plays a massive role in our economic progress.
And McGuinness said:
I congratulate Donald Trump on his election victory.
I will work constructively with President Trump to maintain and strengthen our well established and deeply valued relationship with the United States.
Over many years successive US administrations have made a major contribution to both our peace process and economic development and I expect this to continue.
I commiserate with Hillary Clinton who showed unwavering commitment to the north of Ireland as secretary of state and first lady.
Now that's the way to do it!
May's statement welcoming Trump's election in full
Here is the full statement from Theresa May, the prime minister, issued by Number 10 Downing Street.
I would like to congratulate Donald Trump on being elected the next President of the United States, following a hard-fought campaign.
Britain and the United States have an enduring and special relationship based on the values of freedom, democracy and enterprise.
We are, and will remain, strong and close partners on trade, security and defence.
I look forward to working with President-elect Donald Trump, building on these ties to ensure the security and prosperity of our nations in the years ahead.
Very diplomatic!
I suspect oor ain First Meenister is still hiding under the duvet, having taken such pains to insult the world's newly most powerful man.
She and the Welsh moonbat make a fine pair.

Riots on the streets of USA as Hillary Clinton supporters protest and chant 'f*** Trump'
ANGRY STUDENTS across America have taken to the streets following Donald Trump’s election as president.
Supporters of Hillary Clinton were heard chanting “f*** Trump” as they rushed down the streets at the University of Oregon.
Universities in California have also reported disturbances following Mr Trump’s shock victory.
Sarai Silva wrote on Twitter: "Riots and protests all over San Francisco. It's f****** crazy out here."
The angry protesters have been branded sore losers and hypocrites by Trump supporters.
Why do these oh-so-superior progressives always spit their dummy when they lose votes or elections? I am surprised Mrs Rich Smug isn't on her way to the US to explain to the plebs that they voted the wrong way, and that she was starting a legal action to overturn the result.

Aberdeenshire business owner wins presidential election
Donald Trump, owner of Trump International Golf Links at Balmedie, has been elected as the next President of the USA. Mr Trump, whose golf course opened in July 2101, beat off strong competition from Democrat rival Hilary Clinton. He has visited the area on several occasions, the most recent being earlier this year. Mr Trump is half Scottish - his mother Mary MacLeod being from Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis. She grew up in a simple croft until she landed in Manhattan at the age of 20 and her first language was Gaelic.

Her week got off to a bad start when it came out that she'd p*ssed off the Chinese government and they pulled out of a YUUGE investment/infrastructure deal, so why not also p*ss off the next US president? It's not as if Scotland needs jobs or anything....
She'll probably go for the treble and insult Putin by the end of the week.
