Without realizing the irony, NBC offered this tidbit “Highly classified intercepts illustrate Russian government planning and direction of a multifaceted campaign by Moscow to undermine the integrity of the American political system,” said the official.

Apparently it’s OK for the US to hack Russia but not the other way around. Further adding to the irony, the source also noted, “communication intercepts are viewed with caution because they are subject to interpretation“.

So we have yet another bullsh*t story on Russia running rampant in at least four media organizations, started by the Washington Post, despite a caution the story is “subject to interpretation” and despite the fact it would have been major news if Russia didn’t cheer the election of Trump.

Anyone that didn't want to die in a nuclear holocaust courtesy of Clinton's warmongering cheered Trump's victory.

So, I read the report after a friend insisted I do so. Seriously? This is what we get for 70 billion a year. A 9th grader would be ashamed to turn that in to a teacher. 25 pages. Several of which were blank. 7 pages are a reprint of a 2012 web article on the RT network. They don't even tell who the author of the piece is so we have no idea how to judge it. On top of that the article says that because RT has a lot of shows that are pro-environment and anti-fracking they are promoting the Russian gas and oil industry. Then there is a bit about the cyber hackers of St. Petersburg in the rest of the report. Something that has been written about with more evidence and clarity by several outlets over the last five years than anything in this mess of a report. Even the editing and page numbering is sloppy and amateurish. Like they did it last night after a meth binge or something. And the NY Times' David Sanger has the gall to call this sad, sad piece of non-news "damning and surprisingly detailed". Really David? Bet you wouldn't last long turning such shoddy work into your bosses. Although at this point the Times is basically a joke as well.

I would tend to agree with that; time and again, we've seen him make some seemingly throwaway remark, which weeks down the line turns out to be very important indeed. He's certainly smart enough to keep his own security people - and to stay away from book depositories.
