I really don't know what's wrong with CNN in particular, Lily, they seem to have taken leave of their senses concerning Trump.

As soon as they released that gigapixel photo, it was obvious that something was wrong with that half-empty photo that was being touted around.

And this keeps happening; President Trump says something, most of the MSM accuses him of lying, then two or three days later, he's proven correct.

I saw a good explanation for the Trump whirlwind earlier-

Presidents are normally politicians who have to get used to being celebrities in charge of huge organisations. Trump is already a celebrity running a huge organisation, it's the 'politician' part that's new to him.

U.S. Army tanks recently deployed to Europe arrived at a port in Germany, some of them with dead batteries and without sufficient fuel.

The Wall Street Journal reported this week on logistical challenges that the U.S. military faced when sending an armored unit of 4,000 soldiers and 90 tanks to Europe in order to protect NATO member states and deter Russian aggression.

Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, the commander of U.S. Army Europe, revealed that some of the tanks arrived in the port city of Bremerhaven, Germany, with dead batteries as a result of a mistake by the contractor. Some of the tanks also did not have full fuel. The cause of the errors was the negligence of the troops who failed to switch-off the armored vehicles’ systems while they were being transported. The lapse was evidence of the shortfall of experience in today’s soldiers, said Lt. Gen Ben Hodges, commander, army forces in Europe.

Hopefully, President Trump will stop this sabre-rattling at Russia; not least because incidents like this demonstrate that the Russian Girl Guides would eat Washington's transgender, affirmative action recruits for breakfast.

…Then suddenly on Wednesday afternoon, Kennedy and three of his top officials resigned unexpectedly, four State Department officials confirmed. Smith, director of the Office of Foreign Missions, followed him out the door.

The house cleaning is nearly complete as the Washington Post also reports that the Assistant Secretary of State for Diplomatic Security, George Starr, retired the day President Trump was sworn and the director of the Bureau of Overseas Building Operations, Lydia Muniz, also quit the same day.

That's hilarious. After years of getting away with causing chaos, even being invited to the White House by Obama, the last thing the pests would have expected is being on the receiving end of a good, old-fashioned, police charge.

And the bystanders cheering the police on, is the finishing touch.

As they posed for the cameras, Mr Trump spoke about the oft-referenced bust of Winston Churchill in the Oval Office, which he returned after becoming President.

He said: "It's a great honour to have Winston Churchill back."

Mrs May replied by saying: "Thank you Mr President. We're very pleased that you have accepted us back."

If you see it on telly - her suit matches his tie.

Nice touch.

Well, at least Obama's rudeness over that bust provided a talking point to break the ice.

I'm sure that would be no problem.

I should think that, once the formalities are over, Mrs May is going to be a very happy Prime Minister - this has altered the whole balance of power around Brexit.

Britain has rather been doing its renowned Standing Alone act since last summer, and if Clinton had won *shudder* then Clinton and Merkel would have teamed up to do their best to scupper Brexit.

That's a perfect illustration of why I never watch BBC news, and why I resent the licence fee. I don't know anyone that could give a flying one about the matters  Kuenssberg thinks are of such importance.

At least Mrs May dealt with her; Trump probably hasn't met a BBC progressive before.
