Three weeks after we reported that a St. Louis man, Juan Thompson - a former Intercept reporter and staunch Bernie Sanders supporter - was arrested in connection with at least eight of the dozens of bomb threats made against Jewish organizations across the country, an effort which many described as a "false flag" attempt to implicate and blame "anti-semitic" Trump supporters, today the NYT reported that police arrested an Israeli teenager with dual US-Israeli citizenship in further connection with scores of threats to Jewish institutions, including dozens of community centers in the United States, law enforcement officials said.

A spokesman for the Israeli police Micky Rosenfeld, said the suspect, from the Ashkelon area of southern Israel, had also made threats to institutions in Australia and New Zealand, as well as to at least one commercial airline flight, forcing an emergency landing. “This is the guy we are talking about,” Mr. Rosenfeld said.

Israeli authorities did not immediately identify the teenager, who they said was Jewish and 19. was expected to appear in court later Thursday. The suspect’s motives were not immediately clear although another instance of attempt to instigate a "false flag" reaction appears the most likely explanation; he was being questioned by the international investigations unit of the Israeli police.

Just appalling; apart from the trouble this moron has caused, genuine threats are far less likely to be taken seriously because of him.

The intelligence is said to leave no doubt the Obama administration, in its closing days, was using the cover of legitimate surveillance on foreign targets to spy on President-elect Trump, according to sources.

The FBI hasn’t been responsive to the House Intelligence Committee’s request for documents, but the National Security Agency is expected to produce documents to the committee by Friday. The NSA document production is expected to produce more intelligence than Nunes has so far seen or described – including what one source described as a potential “smoking gun” establishing the spying.

Classified intelligence showing incidental collection of Trump team communications, purportedly seen by committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and described by him in vague terms at a bombshell Wednesday afternoon news conference, came from multiple sources, Capitol Hill sources told Fox News. The intelligence corroborated information about surveillance of the Trump team that was known to Nunes, sources said, even before President Trump accused his predecessor of having wiretappedhim in a series of now-infamous tweets posted on March 4.

The key to that conclusion is the unmasking of selected U.S. persons whose names appeared in the intelligence, the sources said, adding that the paper trail leaves no other plausible purpose for the unmasking other than to damage the incoming Trump administration.

After slamming NBC's coverage of the "Fake Trump/Russia story", congratulating the NYTimes for "finally getting it" on Obamacare, Trump on Saturday commented on the previously discussed Fox News story about a "very senior, very well known" U.S. intelligence official who was allegedly involved in unmasking the names of Trump associates, and who had reprotedly surveilled Trump before the nomination.

"Wow, @FoxNews just reporting big news. Source: 'Official behind unmasking is high up. Known Intel official is responsible. Some unmasked not associated with Russia. Trump team spied on before he was nominated. If this is true, does not get much bigger. Would be sad for U.S.," he added.

This is beyond me, as is all the scheming involved in Obamacare/Ryancare/Trumpcare, but it does look as if something is about to go off bang.

Michael Doran, former NSC senior director, told TheDCNF Monday that “somebody blew a hole in the wall between national security secrets and partisan politics.” This “was a stream of information that was supposed to be hermetically sealed from politics and the Obama administration found a way to blow a hole in that wall.”

Doran charged that potential serious crimes were undertaken because “this is a leaking of signal intelligence.”

Donald Trump launches US missile strike against Syria after chemical attack

Moscow warns of ‘significant damage to US-Russia ties’ as American military strike hits airbase in Syria in retaliation for nerve gas attack in Idlib.

In its first public response to the airstrikes, the Kremlin has issued a strong statement condemning the US move as “aggression against a sovereign nation”.

Moscow said the strikes had been carried out on an “invented pretext” and claimed the Syrian army did not have chemical weapons.

The strikes, it said, would do “significant damage to US-Russia ties” and created a “serious obstacle” to creating an international coalition to defeat Isis.

Additionally, evidence indicates that rebel groups may have had prior knowledge of the attack and knew that there was a risk of chemical weapons being unleashed. The attack also came in the aftermath of a trip by Senator John McCain to meet with groups known to associate with radical jihadist factions in Syria, at a time when the United States government has been engulfed in a power struggle between different political factions who disagree strongly over what should be appropriate policy in regards to the Syrian civil war.

Agree, LL. I figure that US domestic policy is pretty much a matter for Americans, but US foreign policy affects all of us.

Promising to stop regime-changing, and stay out of the Middle East, was the one thing that made Trump different, gave people a little hope for change. And now he's done this, killed more Syrians and DIRECTLY aided jihadists, who now have free rein in that area to slaughter even more innocents.

Must be great to be able to sit thousands of miles away from danger and cheer on US missile launches against other people, who are NO threat to America. It's no wonder so many in the world regard the US as the biggest threat to world peace.
