I simply cannot imagine why it took so long to find the poor child - someone dropped the ball badly here, IMO.

I have no doubt some fantastic tale is being concocted as we speak, Lily. It hasn't even occurred to the ghouls that what the forensic people found could have been something as simple as the child's glasses - which would mean she hadn't left the house.

I just don't know how a body could be hidden in such a small house, which had supposedly been searched two days ago. Or how the main suspect could have been lost, along with the poor girl's mother, seemingly - though not at the same time.

Catching up here, have the police confirmed that it is the body of the girl? LL

A ladder was seen being taken into the house, so it was likely in the loft.

Apparently Hazell was in the house until yesterday evening, so he could have been in France by early this morning, certainly before he was actually missed.

That poor child's grandmother must be in a terrible state. And Yes, I do feel sorry for her.

Since the police haven't said what happened, we can't know what they have found and you are correct, it could have been anything.

I think we have to wait for more information, Bonny,maybe then it will make complete sense?

In the meantime, they are going great guns over at hounder central.

I know, but they never cease to amaze me with how despicable they can be. They go beyond ghoul. They are the worst kind of human being out there. They are like locusts that swarm at every dramatic event. It's sad too because their lives must be such crap that they have to comment on everything in the news and on everyone.

We were all hoping that Tia was still alive, and they were all hoping that Tia was dead.

They won. Bully for them.

This also applies to Madeleine and any other child that goes missing. Nothing complicated about it. This who we are, and that is who they are.

It beggars belief that Tia's body could have been moved in and out of the house with so many eyes watching - so how on earth did earlier search teams and 'specialist dogs' fail to find her?

He might have tried the old trick of putting it in the attic, and then moving it to her bedroom after they had searched it, and then putting it back in the attic after they searched that.
