Re: Isabel Martorell* writes about Leveson; Bennett latest - up creek and paddleless
So if I remember correctly here, Bennett says his action has not hindered the search for Madeleine.....so what about the evidence he got from a member of the public that he said was not relevent

Re: Isabel Martorell* writes about Leveson; Bennett latest - up creek and paddleless
Very good point, muratfan.
I am sure he will be getting presented with a very, very long list of charges by Carter Ruck - all sorts of nasty things he has said and done are going to come back to bite him.
And have you noticed, he hasn't come clean about the state of play with Ed Smethurst yet? He had until the beginning of September to object to those costs - yet he's strangely quiet on the subject.
Ah well, he should have listened to Sans, instead of being so obnoxious. If he had, he might not have walked right into this particular trap.
And he wouldn't be making up nonsense about events in court.

He does realise that they have copies of the posts from the Hounders site doesn't he....even from the Secret Sections and the not ever so secret sections

Oh Judge Tugendhat, you win my undying respect just for that one line alone ...
Do they seriously believe that that is what he said? I am genuinely stunned that they are falling for this garbage from Head Hounder.
Boy, have they got a reality check coming!
"Suppose it's established that the Claimants had lied about what happened?"
That means nothing much at all. It is always possible that any Claimant could have lied, and Mr. Bennett is as much entitled to legal protection against this improbability as anyone else would be in other Cases.
One thing is certain however, Judge Tugendhat was in no way referring to The McCanns personally.

But he didn't say that, Sabot. Only the hounders would be stupid enough to believe that a senior British judge would make a remark like that.
Why do you think Bennett didn't want witnesses to what happened in court?

And he knew that McCann supporters would be there.
But he did say that he will post a copy of the judgement, presuming that we can trust that.

Forker logic:
Taking a retired man to court, trying to get him banged up in jail and callously relieving him of his life savings, along with the roof over his head AND his wife's head, is surely one great big PR disaster for the McCanns.
So, no-one over pension age should ever be held to account for their activities?
Simon Wiesenthal was totally wrong to hunt down all those vile old Nazis?
Utterly ridiculous! And, pray tell, what did Bennett actually do in the shape of 'work' to retire from?
Just wait until the great British public see for themselves what he has been saying and doing!

It is now looking very likely that the general public are going to know what Bennett has been up to, in all it's sordid detail.
Anyone like to bet that his mysterious witnesses will be otherwise engaged at the time?

The forker's got one thing right:
are they so pig-headed that they swat away any informed counsel from those being paid to help them?
Well, that is exactly what Bennett's done, isn't it? He ignored Kirwan's; he was abusive to Sans when he was given free advice that would have steered him out of this mess; he can't get legal aid, and no lawyer would touch him with a bargepole, anyway, because he is:
a. A lost cause.
b. Deeply unpleasant and arrogant.
The forker was talking about Bennett.......?

Deluded nutjob.
He's been a pensioner for a month, dear
He wasn't a retired man when he STARTED this crap, was he. The court case dates should tell the idiot when this was taken to court.
I bet wifey was at court with him, on Thursday. I wonder why everyone thinks she knows nothing about what he's been up to all these years, oh well!
He thought he was going to get legal aid, thats why he carried on. Shame thats bit him on the ass too, INNIT?
Its not like he's on low income, he's got 2 pensions, wifey one, and he's now having to pay all his own housing bills, with no handouts. Perhaps getting attendance allowance for mommy too.

Re: Isabel Martorell* writes about Leveson; Bennett latest - up creek and paddleless
Erm. There's a bit of a discrepancy concerning his finances. He said that if he has to pay only half of Ed Smethurst's £52,000 Costs then his savings will have sunk to below £8,000. So what happened to the rest of his original £90,000? Surely Brian Kennedy didn't get that much?

Did he lie about the 90,000 in the first place?
Don't know, just know that you cannot trust him to tell the truth about anything.

I don't think so, Lily. If anything he will have undervalued what he had. And it was Debbie who told of what he declared, and not him.
I believe that she was genuinely shocked to discover how much he had, especially since she had been paying his expenses, because she believed that he was surviving on a shoe string.
That £90,000 will have increased since then. So what payout has reduced his Savings to £8,000? Not that I care. Unless he has diverted Funds.

Whatever he has had to pay so far will have him feeling irked. I do hope he fully realizes that this is because he has put his faith in Gonc?

Have you ever noticed how gullible the we-hate-the-McCanns mob are? They will swallow any old garbage as long as they think it hurts Madeleine's family.
One of Textusa's loonies has been raving away thus:

How lovely is Judge Tugenhat, with his beautiful excentric name, how we all love him! He opens the possibility that the Mccanns could be lying, may God bless him!
He probably is following Textusa, Joana Morais and other blogs and he certainly asked advise from the Yard.He found a way to crash the McCanns.Speaking about statements, it is possible he knows that Tapas 7 changed theirs. The old statements would not help Tony Bennet.
==========
Bit of a problem with that, seeing as how that is NOT what actually happened. has a nasty habit of putting words in people's mouths. Including judges.
You know how most people have an inbuilt bullsh*t-o-meter? All of the forkers and haters seem to have been born without one.
Ah well, it gives them hope.

There is absolutely nothing eccentric about Judge Tugendhat, or his name.
But, has anyone else noticed that the Studio Portrait of Bennett posing somewhere or another, bears a resemblance to what Bennett thinks he should be seen as?

Didn't the Judge speak about the very long working hours of the court recently?
Never mind, I'm sure that he doesn't pay attention to the cases before him, he just sits and scrolls through all the blogs and sites even making the odd comment or two. Oh, probably on Bennett's site?
I do hope that Candyfloss didn't ban him.........

Yes, and he also said something about the obnoxious people who fetched up in them.....
I really can't imagine who he could have meant.

Will the same judge be on the bench for bennett's jury trial?
If it is the same one, I can see him having to recuse himself because of bennett and his fools.

That, I do not know, Tony - I understand it is possible the libel case will be heard by a different judge.
And if Bennett and his clowns think that people are not aware of what Bennett falsely claimed the judge said - they can think again.
