Re: Scareforce One Makes Day Trip To Aberdeen
Please note, Sabot, that Edinburgh WANTED three choices on the ballot, the third being Devolution-Max. Cameron said NO - our way or the highway.
Now, with just over a week to go, the unionists are running round like headless chickens, pretending that if the serfs vote NO, then they'll talk about Devo-Max, just as soon as they can.
They are in complete panic. Unlike YES. Because if the UK media had been paying the slightest bit of attention before HMS Titanic hit the iceberg at the weekend, the Scottish government released an enormous White Paper - or rather, White Book , at 670 pages - LAST YEAR.

No, I didn't know that, Bonny. That just makes it worse. So Westminster is now offering what they had already refused? And will continue to offer if The Unionists win?
They must think that Scotland has just come up The Clyde on a water biscuit.
Arrogance and stupidity in spades. The Culminy is awful. They would whittle it away to nothing and then take the oil and gas.

Ah no, Sabot, in the unhappy event of Oh No! winning, they will instantly forget they ever said anything at all about DevoMax. Instead, they will go out of their way to hammer Scotland even further for daring to get uppity.
That darling of the Home Counties Farage has openly said he intends to do away with our parliament if he ever gets near power; Boris isn't far behind. He seems to think that if he mouths off in London about taking even more money from Scotland to spend in London, only London people can read it.
They're all lying, and they're all frauds, cheats, liars and losers. So, the more people they irritate, the better, really.
They're like abusive husbands, thinking that if they promise their battered spouse that this time, it'll be different, honest, look, I've brought you shiny beads and trinkets, their victim is going to forget all the lies and batterings they've had in the past.
Not this time.

Re: Scareforce One Makes Day Trip To Aberdeen
Who can forget the 1979 devolution referendum, when Westminster rigged the poll so dead people were counted as NO votes?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_devolution_referendum,_1979
And no-one around then has forgotten what the Tories did:
The campaign for a "no" vote was much helped by an assurance by former Prime Minister Lord Home of the Hirsel that a future Conservative Government would introduce legislation which would meet the objections. This pledge, made by Lord Home in a personal capacity, was not honoured by the Conservatives when they came to power a few months later.
What the Tories actually did was unleash a modern scorched earth policy on Scotland's industrial heartland.

They've thrown it away, Sabot, used it to prop up vanity projects and illegal wars. Unlike Norway, which kept control of their money. They're worried in case they have TOO MUCH:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-24049876
Most of Europe is struggling with how to reduce spending, but not Norway. It has invested the income from its oil and gas reserves so wisely that it now has what many consider to be the world's largest sovereign wealth fund, estimated to be worth $1tr (£0.6tr) by 2020. But is that too big?
A terrible problem, is having too much money.
Speaking of, it's quite amusing watching assorted bloggers and financial types trying to get their heads around the YES philosophy, and deciding it's socialist. No, not really.
It isn't an -ism. They need to go and read some Burns, find out what the Common Weal means, get to grips with the Kirk philosophy that making money by your own endeavours is most excellent, and to be encouraged, but trampling down and impoverishing your fellow human beings for your own gain is downright sinful.

I find it all rather pathetic. When the Dual Monarchy of Austria and Hungary separated it ended in WW1 - will the separation of Scotland and Engerland end in a rather silly fizzle? Answers on a bog roll. LL

I am sure Berwick and the Crimean War could be dragged into this somehow, LL.
A favoured cry of the Little Englanders currently appears to be Rebuild Hadrian's Wall! To which northern England residents are saying, Yes please, as it's actually in England, you moron, and some of us will be able to escape from Westminster, too.

http://news.stv.tv/scotland-decides/news/291382-pmqs-cancelled-to-allow-leaders-to-campaign-for-no-vote-in-referendum/
Prime Minister's Questions has been cancelled to allow the three main party leaders to travel to Scotland to campaign for a No vote.
The weekly event in the House of Commons will be put on hold on Wednesday to allow Prime Minister David Cameron, deputy prime minister Nick Clegg and Labour leader Ed Miliband to travel north to urge Scots to reject independence on September 18.
In their statement the three leaders said: "There is a lot that divides us - but there's one thing on which we agree passionately: the United Kingdom is better together.
Mr Cameron told reporters: "All of us are agreed the right place for us to be tomorrow is in Scotland, not at PMQs".
More at link.
Translation - We're in a complete panic because the Jocks, the ones with all the oil and resources, aren't doing as we tell them.
This triumvirate of headless chickens turning up is excellent news for YES. There is absolutely nothing that puts Scots backs up like braying public school boys telling them what to do. And three at once - pure gold!

Re: Scareforce One Makes Day Trip To Aberdeen
No, they don't, Sabot. Another gem:
Downing Street says it is to fly the Saltire until after the referendum as a sign of the commitment to Scotland.
They simply have NO idea how patronising and offensive they are. In Scotland, people have been having real, grown-up debates about the future for months.
This shower finally realise Scotland exists and think shiny trinkets, empty promises, and meaningless gestures are all that matters.
Mustn't complain, though - the more Scots votes they upset, the better.

Re: Scareforce One Makes Day Trip To Aberdeen
From the Voice of Westminster BBC:
Dismissing the plan for more powers, Mr Salmond said: "This is the day that the 'No' campaign finally fell apart at the seams.
"It's totally inadequate, it's not enough. It's nothing approaching the powers that Scotland needs to create jobs, to save the health service and build a better society.
First Minister Alex Salmond said the campaign for the Union had fallen apart
"The polls at the weekend, which caused so much panic in the breasties of the 'No' campaign, actually showed that independence was the most popular option."
The first minister added: "I've never seen a campaign disintegrate in the way that the 'No' campaign is disintegrating at the moment."

Re: Scareforce One Makes Day Trip To Aberdeen
Does England have right to fly The Saltire? Isn't this asking for trouble? We love you scotchies. Kiss, Kiss. Puke.
They seem to think that this is some sort of election campaign. Vote for me, me, me, and I, all three of us, that is, will give you what you want. And then renege afterwards. As they always do. We have all seen that before, many times.
This is a right for self determination. A right for Scotland to decide at grass roots, what it will do for Scotland and it's people, by it's people, and with the money of the people. And if the Yes Vote wins then this is what will happen, mistakes and all.

Aw, Scotchies, we didn't really mean it when we said we'd build a wall on the border. Or when we said we wouldn't let you join the EU. Or any of that stuff. You just got us annoyed when you went on about all that justice and freedom stuff, you provoked us. Look, we're flying your silly Jock flag to keep you happy. Now give us all your money.

Rupert Murdoch @rupertmurdoch · Sep 7
Salmond's private polls predict 54-46 Yes. Desperate last ten days ahead for both sides. Most powerful media, BBC, totally biased for No.

Scotland. Now southern parties all promising much new autonomy if vote is No. Problem for them now is credibility. Also too late.
A lot of rumours are flying that the Scottish Sun is going to come out and back YES. Time will tell, but it would be a huge boost, and break through the Unionist near-monopoly of the media.

They think we think they are really smart and clever an all, and we can't count or add up, let alone divide. And only them can run the economy. Into the ground, that is, like what Gordon Brown done not very long ago.
And only them can go to Parliament and talk a load of piss and wind, wot we don't understand. Mind you, they could be right about that. Especially the Ya, Boo, Sucks bit from the back benches.
So no PMs Questions for three day. Phew. What a relief. Bunch of dickheads.

And when those three chancers scuttle off again, we get Farage shouting about how horrid we are, and the Orange Order marching for the Union and Brittania ruling. That should be the cherry on the icing on the cake.
Must say, no-one expected the unionists to provide such fine entertainment. Oh, and I see the suggestion that English people fly the saltire to show they love us, really, has gone down like a lead balloon with Mail readers.
Can't say I blame them, especially as assorted PC-types have hysterics when they fly their own flag.
