Radar-tracking evidence showed the missing Malaysia Airlines plane was deliberately flown towards India's Andaman Islands, it has been reported.

Nearly a week after the airliner disappeared with 239 people on board, sources familiar with the investigation have told Reuters the plane was flown towards the small chain of islands in the Indian Ocean - on the opposite side of Malaysia from where contact was lost.

Malaysia's acting transport minister Hishammuddin Hussein this morning confirmed the international search had been expanded into the Indian Ocean.

Malaysia Airlines 3786.KU +2.13% ' missing jet transmitted its location repeatedly to satellites over the course of five hours after it disappeared from radar, people briefed on the matter said, as searchers zeroed in on new target areas hundreds of miles west of the plane's original course.

The satellites also received speed and altitude information about the plane from its intermittent "pings," the people said. The final ping was sent from over water, at what one of these people called a normal cruising altitude. They added that it was unclear why the pings stopped. One of the people, an industry official, said it was possible that the system sending them had been disabled by someone on board.

Bloody Hell. We are now in the Twilight Zone.

This is, naturally, a hot topic of discussion on the Icke site - it's manna from Heaven for conspiracy theorists.

Some of them think the plane has been hi-jacked because it was carrying the Ukrainian government's gold reserves.

Others think it was taken over by a US AWAC that sent out EMP waves to disable the plane's systems and enable the AWAC to control it, and it has landed in Diego Garcia.

Some think the plane didn't exist in the first place. Some think it has entered another dimension.

Not too many takers for this one so far, though.

I think this was another Illuminati False Flag operation in order to introduce more and more severe security measurements in the whole World. Just as 911, the Boston Marathon bombings and the Sandy Hook shootings were False Flag Illuminati events.....

I wouldn´t be surprised if the flight is right now on a military base and if the passengers will now be food for the reptilian human flesh-eaters

Acherly, they have been watching "The Event" on TV. I've forgotten the plot but it's something to do with ALIENS all living among us which America were going to bump off but the aliens put the plane through some sort of time warp and landed in the desert and then the government find them and kill them except that some of them got away.
It's one of those interminable stories where you forget what happened after three episodes and you can join in again sometime later and it's still the same old same old and you haven't missed a thing.

Hopefully there will be a logical answer coming soon.

It is truly bizarre at the moment, Bonny. We are scratching our heads so imagine the poor relatives and friends?

I cannot imagine what they are going through, Lily. It's nearly a week since the plane vanished, and I am sure their first thoughts were, My loved ones are dead, the plane crashed in the sea off Vietnam. Terrible, but final.

Now they are hearing that the plane was deliberately flown for hours in the opposite direction. Are their loved ones sitting on a remote island runway? Hostages? Dead in a crash there? It's just appalling, and it must be torture.

I'll say so, Bonny. Mental anguish overload and then some.

Every day an added burden....

I know we all hope that there will be proper news as soon as possible.

Just too awful. But someone is covering up something. That is for sure.

Mind you, they seem as baffled as the rest of us.

After all this, it wouldn't matter if a tailfin with Malaysian Airlines written on it was found floating on the ocean, no-one is going to believe any official version of what's happpened.

There's a C5 special about it on just now, but frankly, it's little more than speculation to fill an hour. Amelia Earhart has just been mentioned....Glenn Millar will doubtless make an appearance too before it's over.

Thanks for the link to the forum, Bonny, but as you say all it is now is speculation.

About the only different thing that was mentioned was cyber-terrorism - that the controls of the plane were hacked. It was more complicated than that, obviously, but that was the basic premise.

Lily, we've all seen what the 9/11 Truthers are like. I shudder to think what they're going to be like over this. I try to avoid conspiracy theories, the explanation is usually simple, but this one? Even I think it's hinky.

Up until today, have tried very hard to think there will be news of the plane having been found. Something unpleasant but logical has happened but this is very bizarre. We know that there are hundred of flights to China and that this flight route itself is common but just how common is that set of circumstances with those precise people on board? It does make a person think.......

I don't think sudden decompression works, either, Lily - that Greek plane crashed because it hit a mountain while one of the cabin crew tried to pull it up while everyone else was unconscious. Not because lack of oxygen itself. If you see what I mean...

And that wouldn't turn the transponders off, anyway.
