Swordsticks aren't illegal, just expensive.....

ETA, yes, they are sort-of illegal, you can't go waving them around in public, and they're rarely made in the UK these days, which is why they are expensive.....

The idea you see, is to release the catch, hit someone over the head, at which point the outer cover shoots off, and then to stab them. I have given it a dummy run, and it does work. But it is such a simple thing. Clout. Stab. And how's your father.

But it was only ever to do with my much adored eldest son being shovelled off to Boarding School. You can't ever explain that, no matter your good motives. And nor should I have to.
