at the elections, when someone is going to vote, it is common behaviour to show your id card with your election card with your number written on it.

We get polling cards through the mail, Pedro, with our name, address, polling station, date, etc, on it. Then you're checked off the voters' roll when you vote.

I don't know why that hounder is complaining, Pedro. In the UK, electoral rolls are freely available; most Post Offices and council buildings have copies, free for the public to check on the premises, and it's perfectly normal for political parties to buy copies for their own use.

It's beyond stupid to imagine its 'details have been sold'.
