STV reporting that North Ayrshire should be more than 55% in favour of a Yes vote.

I am a nervous wreck, Lily. I am having a large malt, and it may not be the last....someone on one of the YES blogs pointed out that the polls simply haven't taken account of what was described as the great unwashed = all the people that had given up on voting, simply because Westminster politicians always lie and their lives never got better, just worse.

I'm not sure where that is, but it's been caught on twitter so no doubt is about to cause uproar....

ETA, it's Clackmannanshire. Dundee.

Shocked What dirty tricks.  Brown was doing that too with his you voted by mail carp.

I can imagine that people will not let that go unchallenged?  Least of all Mr. Salmond?

It'll be caught at the count - I hope! I've got brave and put on STV; they're reporting there have been about 10 incidents of voter fraud in Glasgow, which the police are now investigating.

If true, I have NO doubt that it will be the Labour party again, they are notorious for antics like this.

They've got previous form for this, Lily, not just in Scotland. They get up to all sorts of tricks in areas such as Tower Hamlets in London, which have a high immigrant population.

Nothing's happened yet. Assorted people are still talking about what's going to happen imminently, as they have for the last hour. I am watching STV, as it isn't as whizzy as Sky or as biased as BBC, hence is less irritating.

Noes won Clackmannshire, but that was expected, and it only has a total electorate of 34,000.

46/53%.

More likely someone's playing silly sods, Lily, and set the alarm off!

I can see me falling asleep before the big city results come in, it's only the small rural results that are going to be in at a sane hour, and it would be a miracle if they were Yes.

Oh, Dundee's back on again, panic over.

I hate this stupid "politics will have changed forever whatever the result" crap. A No will be taken as resounding backing for status quo.

It's worse than that, we will have a sign on our backs saying, Kick me, I voted for food banks, and my children having an even worse future. Scotland will be hammered stupid in the next few years.

LL will be disappointed, Orkney went 10,000 - 4,000 for No. But again, it's a tiny electorate, with some strange local factors.

Yes are down so far, Sabot, but only two tiny areas are in. The cities aren't expected to be in for hours. There's actually a semi-sane discussion going on on STV, which doesn't have any flashy gismos, just assorted Scots politicians, some of whom I actually thought were dead, but it's a pleasant change from airhead bimbos. This was interesting:

Ian Watson ‏@iandubya 59 secs
Michael Forsyth more or less confirms ‘The Vow’ was a political expedient that can’t be delivered. #indyref

The discussion has been going over more or less the same mutterings I have been doing. The Vows cannot be fulfilled without federalising England - which I actually think would be a good thing, but ain't going to happen.

I have NO idea what happens if No wins, beyond it will be a nightmare in every possible way.
