The McCann-haters and Gonzo-worshippers always come unstuck when they try stunts like this, Sabot - it reveals how few of them there actually are.

There are supposedly over 30,000 members on that FB hate page - why have only 300-400 people (because many of the 'donations' are repeats) forked out for Gonzo?

It's like Bennett's many failed petitions - I can't think of any that have got more than a couple of thousand sigs?

The latest Europe-wide We Gonzo petition has less than three thousand sigs.

I know they make a lot of noise, and their hate campaign is ugly and unpleasant, but there simply are not many of them.

But why do they hate The McCanns so much? I don't believe they adore Gonc. What's to adore? They just love what he is trying to do to The McCanns. And failing miserably, obviously.

This hate campaign started almost from Day One, when none of them knew anything about anything.

I think it is most likely to do with the fact that so much money poured in to help them, Sabot.

Now, why did certain elements in Portugal go out of their way to tell outright lies that smeared the McCanns and others, almost as soon as Madeleine was abducted?

I am trying to remember who were the instigators on The Mirror Forum that far back. But there was a lot of translating going on from Portuguese Newspapers, and it wasn't Google. McCann Supporters discovered Google when we got suspicious.
Now Google isn't the best, but there weren't half a lot of discrepancies starting to appear once we did get our act together.
Before that it just never occurred to most of us that deliberate lies were being told.

So indeed, why? Did it have anything to do with The Cipriano Case? Were certain elements of The PJ getting worried?
Why Levy and Morais? What did they have to do with the cover up?

Another way to think about it might be that if they knew that they were telling the truth about the investigation and what actually happened, why lie?

Interesting that the donation page does not allow donations by paypal (which would be anonymous).

Oh, neither it does, LL! I clicked 'donate' to see what would happen - and didn't like what I saw one bit.

They really are absolute idiots. How many times have the numties fallen out now and each other? Yet they are not handing over money, they are handing over personal information.

Pamela Gurney Sofia de Landerset refused to furnish me with details of the account too and where I could look at the accounts.

It speaks volumes that the main Gonzo Scrounge Fund has never published anything resembling accounts, just that one payment to a previous lawyer several years ago.

Why aren't the forkers demanding their beloved Transparency for Astro and co? Why isn't Ena O'Hounder in full screech about this?

So, in the minds of these strange people who are actively encouraging others to send money to a Portuguese criminal, It is a "'dirty tricks' campaign" to ask a question which fundamentally challenges the logic of their position. The reality is that it is no such thing. It is a standard debating position and they have been exposed as unable to debate the matter.

Leanne Baulch is an idiot. There will be no more than that question. Having shown the total flaw in the logic of their position, having noted that she (and the other fools contributing their money to a criminal ex-cop) have, as I expected, been totally unable to respond to the question, why would I waste time on such stupid people?

Did anyone seriously expect Baulch to explain herself? Like Queen Hoho before her, she scuttled away from Injustice when it became clear she wasn't going to get the usual, Ooh, you are so clever Leanne, God bless Gonzo! but was, instead, facing some very pertinent questions.
