This is awful. As you all know, I spent three years in a children's home in London, between the ages of eleven and fourteen, and never was there even the remotest hint of abuse of any kind. In fact the Scottish, husband and wife couple did everything in their power to make us feel loved and cared for.

There were four boys and four girls, and we were taken on lovely outings and holidays, and allowed to have a dog and a cat. And it was the only really happy part of my child hood.
This wonderful couple were eventually removed because there were girl children in this home, despite no abuse of any kind. Just because he was a man.
And then I was sent back home to the physical abuse that I had supposedly been rescued from.

After that some loony woman took over, and had absolutely no control over the subsequent very disturbed children who replaced me and my sister. These children wrecked what was a beautiful house. Wrecked a loving home. And left Mhari and Alan wondering where they had failed.

Yes, I did keep in touch with them for many years. And Mhari was instrumental in my joining of The Wrens.

It really grieves me to think that there were and are good children's homes that never get any credit. While monstrous places carry on unchecked.

Not often I agree with a hounder, but I cannot fault this:


Two so called freedom fighting women (Hutton and Poulton) who are against just about everything whilst seemingly all for everything at the same time - revolutionaries! (as long as it suits their cyber mawking behaviour) are seemingly dedicated to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann and seeking 'truth'. Add to that the girl power and inspirational quotes - Jeez, it's like stepping back into a very bad inspirational training course your company sent you on in the 1990's because they hadn't bothered to invest in your career and sent you on a pseudo-babble jolly to keep the troops happy. That 'fuzzy, loved-up feeling' abounds in Poulton and Hutton's tweets/blogs. 'Mwah', 'Hun' etc. I'm female and find it revolting.

It's absolutely gruesome and sick-making; they do indeed act like horrible. ageing leftovers from 'Gurrll power', or something equally phoney.

Doubtless that's why they're so entranced with Corbyn, it's all about feelings, and emotions, and a few choruses of Kumbaya setting the world to rights instantly.

As was widely predicted, because no-one was giving Mutton's blethering paeans of Corbyn-love the attention she feels is her right, she's launched yet another attack on the hounders in general and Bennett in particular.

Right on schedule!

She's like a little kid having a tantrum.   Oh wait....
