While the saying goes "good fences make good neighbors," it appears the leadership of The EU is starting to get frustrated with the lack of acquiescence among some of the 'union's' newer or more marginal members. In a somewhat stunning statement, following ongoing and contentious meetings to discuss solutions to the migrant 'problem', EU Commissioner Timmermanns appeared to warn disagreeable member states, "There is an alternative to everything. I believe in EU cooperation because of all other forms in history have been tried to help Europeans get on better, and with the exception of this one, all other forms have led to war - so let's stick to this one."

Imbecile. The odds against European nations warring with each other - except via football and the Eurovision Song Contest - are millions to one.

There is, however, a strong likelihood of civil unrest, directed against the hordes of moslems and the elitist European politicians that invited them in without bothering to ask the public what it thinks.

Indeed, Europe wouldn't be one bit worse off without the meddling Eurocrats that are paid so much money to ignore the public.

Fire broke out in the 'Jungle' refugee camp near Calais last night - just hours after the terror attacks in Paris.

At around 11pm volunteers helping migrants and refugees living in the northern French port shared pictures and video on social media.

One aid worker told Mirror Online that around 40 shelters were destroyed when an 'absolutely massive' fire broke out in a Sudanese area.

One video shows emergency service vehicles arriving at the camp, which houses around 6,000 migrants - mainly young men from Syria and North Africa.

Last night a local anti-migrant group known as 'The Angry of Calais' also posted videos of the inferno on Facebook.

That sparked speculation the blaze could be connected to events in Paris - but it is still unclear what caused the fire.

And on social media, people pointed out that any anger with refugees and migrants in the 'Jungle' would be misplaced as they are fleeing ISIS killers.

The drama in Calais came after a series of clashes with riot police during the week - resulting in 27 officers suffering minor injuries.

Tensions have risen in Calais since the imposition of tough new security measures, including 15ft-tall, razor-topped fences and increased police patrols.

Campaign group No Borders claimed that anger was stoked further when far-right demonstrators burned a Qu'ran in Calais last weekend....etc

Conservative leaders in Germany insisted on linking the terror attacks in Paris on Friday night to the country's own refugee crisis, with calls emerging on Saturday for a crackdown at German borders.

Chancellor Angela Merkel's coalition allies in the conservative Christian Social Union (CSU) quickly linked the Paris attacks to the refugee crisis in Germany.

"Paris changes everything," Bavarian finance minister Markus Söder told Die Welt am Sonntag.

"It cannot be that we don't know who is coming to Germany and what these people are doing here. This situation must be brought to an end by any means," said Söder, echoing comments by state premier Horst Seehofer.

Söder added that Germany should consider following France's lead by closing the country's borders if the European Union was unable to secure its external frontiers – something the state of Bavaria might also do itself if federal action is not forthcoming, he said.

The German Police Union (DPolG) also called for tougher action at the borders, with Ernst Walter, head of the DPolG federal police branch, calling for the "immediate conversion of the EU border agency Frontex to an effective European border police" in a statement.

The Federal Police's newly-created anti-terror unit should immediately be released from all other duties to focus on the threat of Islamic fundamentalism, Walter said.

But Green Party leader Cem Özdemir warned against conflating the Paris attackers with refugees arriving in Germany, saying that could lead to violence.

"If far-right fanatics in this country declare the refugees who have themselves fled from Isis [which claimed responsibility for the Paris attacks] to be targets, then they will be mocking the memory of the victims in Paris after they are dead," he told Tagesspiegel Am Sonntag.

The Social Democrats’ headquarters in Örebro in central Sweden had its windows smashed and there was graffiti daubed on the storefronts, Ulrika Sandberg, a spokesperson for the Social Democrat party in the city told Swedish newspaper, Expressen.

“We and the Green Party were attacked in the same way and the other parties were not.”

“There is some damage and vandalism, but we have reported the incident to the police and an investigation is pending,” said Henrik Karlsson, the Green party’s press spokesman.

“I do not want to speculate on anything but our analysis is that it occurred in connection with the Paris attacks and that it is anger focused against the government parties.”

A post by the Örebro Social Democrats on their Facebook page claimed that “the attack has political overtones aimed against us as a party. This is, of course, a worrying social development.”

One of the many astounding things about this is the way the moonbat faction are so bewildered by the way all their rainbow-coloured dreams of multi-kulti are going wrong, Lily.

They don't seem to grasp that technology may change, and media may change, but human nature hasn't changed for thousands of years, and isn't going to do so any time soon however many group hugs the moonbats have.

Gothenburg, in western Sweden is, per capita, the European city from which most people have joined Islamic extremist groups, according to Swedish integration police chief, Ulf Boström.

The largest of these groups is Islamic State (Isis), which claims to have carried out the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday that killed 129 people.

Boström, who works with the Muslim community in Gothenburg, told Swedish newspaper Göteborg-Posten on Sunday that Isis “has the strength, intellectual capacity and ability to coordinate. They are no fools.”

Previous statistics from the Swedish security service, Säpo, suggest that just over 300 Swedish nationals have left the country to travel to fight with Islamic extremist groups in Syria and Iraq.

40 percent of those – around 120 young men – are from the Gothenburg area, primarily from Bergsjön and Angered. According to Boström this means that Gothenburg is the European city which, in proportion to its population (just under 1m people live in the metropolitan area), contributes the highest number of people to violent extremism.

Boström says that those who are radicalised are from the same demographic that form the criminal gangs in the Gothenburg suburbs, young people who believe they have no future.

“This really affects my work in Gothenburg as the vast majority of Muslims here hate the terrorist attacks. They sometimes ask me, ‘How do you protect the good Muslims’. They are terrified that this kind of terrorism creates a more xenophobic Europe.”

Boström has previously been very critical of the Swedish government's approach to returning jihadis.

In May he told Göteborg-Posten that at least 50 Swedish jihadis, and perhaps as many as 100, have returned to Sweden and not one has been prosecuted under the laws related to terrorist crimes.

Well, you've got to be tolerant and multi-kulti.....even if it kills you.

After Tuesday’s session with the Security Council, which lasted late into the night, they stated that they strongly condemn the terrorist attacks in Paris their deep and sincere condolences go out to the citizens of the Republic of France.

Regarding the threats of violent extremism and foreign terrorist fighters, it was concluded that the institutions regularly undertake measures and well informed on local and current issues.

The Security Services made a report on potential threats facing the region and the measures that our institutions can take, in collaboration with partner agencies, to prevent any threat.

In terms of the migrant crisis, the issue is handled by the most competent institutions in the country and completely comply with the law on crisis management.

The Security Council concluded that the Army of the Republic of Macedonia and the Control Committee should take all necessary measures in case of a change of the situation on the ground in terms of possible restrictions on the flow of migrants to other countries in Europe, to which they are referred to from here.

If other countries do not help with the flow of migrants, the Security Council concluded that the Army , as a last resort, will build barricades of barbed wire in places if deemed necessary.

The Security Council has ordered the Army to immediately begin all preparations and clear activities and to prepare the ground for an eventual and possible barbed wire fence.

The Security Council stresses that a fence would not be aimed at closing the border, but to channel and flow in of the number of migrants and will sent to other European countries to which they are directed.

“However, this step, which is currently only a possibility would be taken as a last resort, i.e only the countries to which migrants are heading significantly reduce their activities on the flow, the Republic of Macedonia will be placed in the difficult position when faced with the challenge of a longer stay of an uncontrolled number of migrants, which does not have the capacity and ability to provide humane treatment to so many,” said the statement from the Council.

While the events in Paris were unfolding, tensions started to spiral in the northern port town of Calais: a blaze began at the refugee camp known as the Jungle that houses some 6,000 migrants. Many are worried this wasn’t just a coincidence.

Some residents are opting to move out rather than put their loved ones at risk. A local family with three children have recently left their home, a neighbor of theirs told RT’s Polly Boyko.

The man, who didn’t disclose his name, added that he thinks the events in Paris and Calais are parts of the same puzzle.

“The migrants talk a lot on the telephone, they are always communicating. They use the Wi-Fi nearby…I think it’s all connected,” he said.

Many in the northern town, which receives about 100 migrants daily, echo his concerns.

“It’s going to end in war. We will see the war. I think so! The migrants are becoming increasingly difficult. And we are getting more scared,” a local woman told RT.

“The riot police are here now, but if they leave, what’s going to happen? It’s always the same question, every day I ask myself, are we safe here?” she added.

Inside the camp, the situation is no better: people are becoming more and more suspicious of each other.

“We have people from about 20 countries here, how do I know which people are Daesh (Arabic term for Islamic State), and which ones are not? Really, we are so nervous now,” a man told RT.

Kurdish families, who live in the camp, said that if there were terrorists in the Jungle, peaceful people would flee for their lives.

“If Daesh people are here, we don’t want to stay here, maybe we will run away! We are going to leave the camp, because now the Kurdish people are fighting with Daesh. We want to be safe,” a man, who fought with the Peshmerga against Islamic State in Kurdistan, told RT through an interpreter.

“He says he is really worried about last night and what happened in Paris, and he is ready to die to remove all the Daesh in the world,” the interpreter said.

Fear is hanging in the air, and following the terror acts in Paris, many choose not to go out, or take any unnecessary risks.

“Normally Saturday night is our busiest. Now, it’s deserted! The people here are afraid. Because of the migrants here, and the situation in Paris,” a local barman told RT.

“What happened in Paris could happen here,” a man in the bar says, voicing the fears of many, both in Calais and in the migrant camp.
