Something sinister has been going on at the Greece/FYROM border.

The media has been full of pictures of 'refugees' trying to cross a river, but it looks like the whole thing was staged. The No Borders squad passed round a leaflet which appeared to show a safe, easy route into Macedonia.

Afgani, Marrocan, Iranian and other illegal migrants were greeted this morning by few dozen individuals on the Greek side of the border who according to journalists claimed they were members of an "NGO" group.

With them they brought hundreds of copies of a document written in Arabic telling the migrants where to go to illegally cross the Macedonian border. The document had a map as well. The migrants were assisted by uniformed Greek border police who showed them the way.
Interesting to note, the document itself was signed by former German Social Minister Norman Bluhm. Although Soros is well known for recruiting former officials to work for his "NGOs", there is no evidence the Greek individuals worked for any NGO. According to journalists, they had no accrediations of any kind, could have been easily members of the Greek border police.

Whoever they were, they bear the responsibility for the deaths this morning, as three Afghani migrants drowned while crossing a river on the Macedonian-Greek border.
Greece has been letting in thousands of illegal migrants without checking their background or asking for any paperwork. All in an effort to win more money from the EU at the same time attempting to destabilize Macedonia by pushing migrants towards the neighboring country.

Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia have closed off their borders to migrants which meant Macedonia had to close their border as the migrants have no way of reaching Western Europe through the Balkan route.
However, certain Governments and Soros backed NGOs are constantly feeding migrants with false information telling them the borders are open and riches await them in Germany, Sweden and Norway.

Hungary to raise border security
By Hungary Matters

Hungary will maintain or heighten all security measures at its borders, the prime minister said after a meeting of the operative staff. Viktor Orbán told state news channel M1 that Hungary’s security situation was reviewed at the meeting in the wake of Tuesday’s Brussels bombings. The operative staff will maintain a terrorism alert at the second highest level and keep counter-terrorism force TEK on full alert. Police forces throughout the country will be put on a high state of alert and the migration state of emergency will be kept in place. Orbán said he had instructed Interior Minister Sándor Pintér to prepare for Wednesday’s cabinet meeting all terrorism-related proposals that had been stymied by political disputes, including a planned amendment to the constitution that would hand the government sweeping counter-terrorism powers. Hungary must upgrade its technology in order to catch up with countries whose security services have the best technical background, Orbán said. “We will buy technology and hold training and instruction courses,” he added. What the general public will notice is a high police presence and at certain locations, such as the airport, armoured vehicles, Orbán said.

It would have been easy for Orban to toe the EU line, and take the EU gold, instead of getting a load of abuse from assorted 'leaders'. It's good, IMO, that he stuck to his guns and remembered that the first duty of any government is the protection of the realm, and the citizens therein.

Which should be simple, but most politicians seem to have forgotten that.

Orbán is that most dangerous mixture, a good lawyer and a politician which means he is an ego-driven slippery fish. At present he is using his abilities to sort out the mess and seems to have subsumed his sense of his own importance with his desire to keep Hungary safe. If there was an election now I would seriously consider voting for him .... maybe. LL

I'm a lawyer, from a family with many members of the legal profession. I have no interest in politics as you know, but I have often wondered if I would have turned out slippery if I hadn't preferred history as my second interest but had entered politics!! LL

I don't know what it is, maybe they get used to arguing for positions they don't actually believe themselves as lawyers, so when they get into politics, any principle they ever claimed to have is ditched as they climb the ladder....

I once asked one of my uncles what drives politicians and lawyers - his answer was that most of them are would-be actors. They stand up in a court or parliament and give a performance to get their point of view across. The only difference between them and actors is that they are playing themselves, not another entity. Courtroom histrionics can be very useful depending on how one uses them. Also, like actors, one needs a presence and a good voice with a command of the language being used. LL

The bile stems from a brutal turf war for control of Glasgow Central Mosque, the biggest single place of worship of any faith in Scotland, between liberals and progressives in parallel with a much greater battle for the political soul of Pakistan.

But long-standing convention against “washing laundry in public” within Scotland’s Muslim community – most of whom have Pakistani origins – means there is a groundswell of anger against anyone who speaks out.

This, said one thoughtful community elder, is because so many Scottish Muslims feel what First Minister Nicola Sturgeon this week called their “double burden”: revulsion at atrocities such as those in Brussels this week and the unfair weight of blame.

That, please note, is the mosque Ms Sturgeon is forever trotting off to to announce that It's Nothing To Do With Islam whenever islamists blow up Europeans.

There isn't a big muslim community here, Lily, and those that are, have been like the jewish community - integrated, working, and part of society.
