Of course it isn't a ploy by the McCanns, only a lunatic would think that. Oh, my bad, I forgot we are talking about the 8rs and forkers.

It may, however, have started out as a ploy by Amoral, for reasons still unknown. And the Portuguese authorities, sick to death of him, have hoist him with his own petard?

Because he either has to get the date for the libel case shifted - I assume criminal takes precedence over civil?

Or he can look forward to the Statewatch report on him being all over the international media at the same time as his Fridge Theory and other mad utterances.

Either is a disaster for Gonc - 1. makes him look like a chicken, yet again, and 2. is the worst publicity imaginable.

Now, can you imagine what would have happened if Gonc had never written the type of book that he did? If he had never spouted off to all and sundry about his honor?

If he had been a half-way decent cop for both Joana and Madeleine?

I guess he would be living a life a lot less complicated. Maybe have written a different book that he could have kept the profits to. Kept his pension.

It's Gonc, though - his whole life and lifestyle is chaotic; he was in massive debt and money troubles well before 2007.

He and Lovely Sofa are both on their second marriage, which it seems has now hit the rocks; that takes some doing in a Catholic country.

Look at the business of the drunk driving with his daughter in the car; the threats to his ex-girlfriend and her family.

These endless lawsuits caused by his unprofessional, erratic behaviour; his wild outbursts and lies - he did it again just yesterday.

It's Gonc himself who causes all this, and why those idiots cannot see it is beyond me, it isn't as if all this isn't a matter of public record.

And he is terrified of Marcos; if the forkers ever bothered to read anything except Morais' censored propaganda, they would know just how often Marcos has bested him.

They would know about CdM's apology to Marcos for publishing that load of rubbish about Gonc's birthday bash, without first bothering to find out what ACTUALLY happened; if they had, then they would have known that Team Gonc was, as usual, the aggressor.

I don't think they want to know the truth about Gonc; they couldn't face it.

Team Gonc is trying to get their excuses for Gonc's predicted funk in early; apparently, the Evil MCanns want the Correia case heard on the 9th to confuzzle their idol, according to the hounders:

Leonor Cipriano's lawyer, who is on trial in February for defamation of Gonçalo Amaral, the PJ inspector and investigator "If Joanna," asked the Attorney General's Office an "emergency position" on the "heinous" accusation that was the target .
"I write in order to get their position on the urgent hideous and vile libelous accusation prosecutors prepared by their subordinates," the lawyer Marcos Aragão Correia, in a letter to Pinto Monteiro.
In the letter, the agency Lusa had access, the barrister points out that the torture of Leonor Cipriano was the victim that resulted "clearly proven" unanimously, in place of the Jury Court, and was later confirmed in its entirety without further possibilities appeal by the Court at Évora.

Unfortunately, given the lapse of time, and the fact that she had often had a bag over her head when attacked, she was unable to be certain of recognising any of the aggressors.

The only thing that Leonor was able to say with absolute certainty was that Gonçalo Amaral, then coordinator of the CID of Portimão, was present throughout the interrogation, watching complacently while all the torture took place. Every time she was able to open her eyes and every time she was beaten, Amaral was there, walking from one side to another without ever trying to prevent any of the torture carried out by his subordinates.

Unfortunatelly, I felt obliged to send Stinky a PM about my workplace as I've explained before. Beachy wasn't a problem to me and neither is you, but Stinky 'scares' me a little.
