gonçalo amaral in trouble *UPDATE - LIBEL TRIAL POSTPONED*

Well, something very odd is going on. Come Hell or high water, this Libel Trial will happen, unless Gonc settles out of Court. When it will happen isn't all that important. The McCanns will not be backing out. Their common sense should tell them that.

Whoops, sorry, I forgot. They don't have any common sense. But they do try to have it every which way. In fact they contradict themselves at every twist and turn.

I sometimes wonder why I am still doing this. It was done and dusted a very long time ago. Perhaps I just want to see their annihilation. My bad. I am not a vindictive person, or at least, I never used to be. But believe me, dealing with this shite does affect one's attitude to life in general. I think I liked me better before this all began, but the dye was cast when I made my first post on The Express Forum. So on to the bitter end.

Well, I can't say that I do. Something in the region of six thousand Euros? It wouldn't even host a good party. And the pathetic amount of money that both these two Funds have managed to raise says it all for me.
There are 40,000 people in Portimao who couldn't even raise One Euro each. Gonc can have the money for all I care.

Bennett? Well no one knows how much he raised, beyond the £1,000 he sent to Gonc. And no one actually knows how much money his supporters have sent him to pay his Court Costs. Tis their money, and none of my business. They are all barking if they think it will help him.
Having done a few calculations in my head, what with Damages and Costs, I am estimating something in the region of £20,000, if not closer to £30,000. Tis no wonder to me that Bennett doesn't want to talk about it.

That is what worries me about me, Sadie. I do want to see them come to grief. And I don't want to feel like this. I want to feel sorry for them, but I am finding that hard work at the moment.

All anyone knows is that Cabrita was paid €2,000 two years ago, there has been nothing resembling accounts since then.

This has been their best for a very long time, I am surprised they haven't managed to turn themselves inside out.

Morais is awfully quiet, isn't she? I expect she is waiting for something to appear in CdM, so she can spinned that to somehow explain away this disaster.

These persons always have had one rule for them and another rule for The McCanns. I am just amazed that they can't see what they are doing. Although they probably can see. They would have to be thick beyond my comprehension if they can't.
So in the end we just have a bunch of very nasty and vicious people who seriously resent any thing that looks like better than them. Any family that has worked hard for what they have. Or perhaps more to the point, any family that has more brain power than they have.
And if the translation by AnnaEsse of the latest book is anything to go by, then tis time she took up another career. Anyone can see that it lacks nuance. No one could ever have written anything quite so bad.

Sadly, AnnaEsse has saddled herself with an impossible translation, and now has to go on making a fool of herself. Good. I can hardly wait for the next embarrassment.

Cabrita dumped Gonc.

The libel trial is being postponed due to Gonc being lawyer-less.

But we never saw that one coming, did we. What a hoot. But I must say that Cabrita looked like a complete Dickhead after all of Gonc's witnesses welched out.
And I doubt that Cabrita was going to risk that again.

It doesn't actually matter what Cabrita thinks of Goncalo Amaral, but no one in their right mind wants to be made to look like a fool.

From the ongoing silence from Morais, I would say the wheels have fallen off her wagon - if she could wring anything at all from this to Give Them Hope, she would have done it by now.

After all, if she tries to spin this as a Cunning Plan, she makes Gonc look as if he is afraid to face the McCanns.

No, the problem stems from Gonc being dropped by his lawyer, and there not exactly being a rush of lawyers eager to take Cabrita's place.
