Now, here's the thing.

It is glaringly obvious that Gonc has, for some time, led a chaotic personal life, with little or nothing admirable about it.
No way is he going to have a sudden personality change when he clocks on as a PJ officer - indeed, his actions in the Cipriano case, and his conviction for perjury, show there is no change in his conduct.

Frankly, anyone who still thinks he behaved honorably or honestly in the McCann case really does need to wake up and smell the coffee, and stop trying to tell themselves Gonc has any honor whatsoever.

The only way that Gonc's dysfunctional life would seem to be okay to the forkers would be if that is how they live their lives.

I think they forgot it works both ways, Sabot. The 'wonderful translators', Morais and co, got away with censoring/altering news stories for long enough. She probably thought she could get away with gatekeeping for ever.

Well, thanks to Pedro and others, her vinho verde curtain has been torn down -bet she never thought that legal documents proving just how dishonest her beloved Gonc is, would appear on the very same internet. And she forgot her fondness for Free Speach when she started screeching about J4 and the Golden Bullets tape - funny how she likes to pick and choose her whistleblowing.

But, why should the forkers not know the truth about Gonc? I thought they all liked calling themselves 'Truthseekers'?

The thing is, Bonny, why did they think they had to interfere in the first place? Why did they have to tell so many lies? They can't have been covering for Gonc's past in those days because they never thought it would come out. But they were in there almost from day one, spreading lies, and mistranslating what little evidence there was.
