I am curious as to why Morais has fallen silent, yet again - I would have thought she would be blogging a storm, 'interpreting' news reports to suit her own agenda and generally spinning like a whirligig.

Sadly for wellyburger and smiffy, Gonc was told repeatedly that he was wrong. The fury of other PJ officers at the time of his being kicked off the case is a matter of record.

As are remarks from his superiors about how he shouldn't have made the McCanns arguidos. And warnings that he was wrong about the forensic results.

Not only did he ignore all that, he went even further in his potboiler.

The ACED report told the truth about Gonc.

Gonc repeatedly told lies about the McCanns and others. Having been warned repeatedly by his superiors that they were lies.

Still, I suppose it gives them hope.

Times sure are desperate in Hateland, though - I wouldn't be at all surprised if Gonc managed to mislay yet another lawyer and postpone his date with the dock yet again, if this is what they are reduced to.

Ms Duarte made such a sterling job of destroying Gonc's case against Marcos Corriea that the judge and prosecutor agreed that Gonc is a thoroughly bad lot and ordered him to pay the court bill - including her fees.

By smiffy 'logic' because that court all agreed that the ACED report was made in good faith, all Gonc has to do in Lisbon is claim, in front of Ms Duarte and others, that he made all those disgusting allegations, told all those lies, made all those accusations in good faith,

AND WITH ONE MIGHTY BOUND, HE IS FREE?

There are a few small problems with that. Not least Gonc having been kicked off the case and later sacked, ooops, I mean 'retired' by the PJ. He knew all along his allegations were false.

And the ACED report was upheld in the Portuguese courts - indeed, Gonc has more criminal charges to face.

As opposed to the McCanns, who were cleared of any crime by the AG of Portugal.

Oh, and then there are the other 'issues'. Like him being found guilty of defrauding his own brother.

And being A CONVICTED CRIMINAL - Lying on oath, I do believe?

Does anyone seriously think Gonc's word is worth a damn? Because the courts don't.

If this is what the Gonc Cult is now reduced to, then they really are desperate.

Nice to see them recognise Ms Duarte's legal abilities, though.

The parents of Madeleine McCann, the British girl who disappeared in Praia da Luz, Lagos, in May 2007, could receive up to €1.2 million from the policeman who investigated the disappearance of their daughter.

Amaral subsequently published a book in which he stated that the couple knew their daughter was dead and had conspired to conceal the body.

Gonçalo Amaral was the man in charge during the early days of the investigation into the child's disappearance, a case that has never been solved despite it being one of the highest profile cases of a missing child in history.

Amaral, now retired, published a book about his version of events and according to "The Truth of the Lie", released in 2008, Madeleine died accidentally of an overdose of sedatives, and there is evidence that her parents hid her body.

"We hope that the family of Madeleine is compensated for this book that has brought them so much pain," said Isabel Duarte, the lawyer who will be acting for the McCanns in the Lisbon Court.

If that's Gonc's 'Ace', then it's a death card - he'd be looking at heavy jail time for that.

But it isn't. Gonc doesn't have an 'Ace'. If he did, he would have played said Ace long ago. The very fact that he chose bankruptcy, ridicule and ruin instead says it all about his non-existent Ace.

They don't want to know about that. How did Amaral know if he never saw The Statements before his book was released? Of course he bloody well saw them. But even he could see that they were worthless, short of using them for sensationalism.

I sometimes worry about me. Why do I bother with Twitter? I am always right because I make sure I am. But what is the point? Other than an interesting exercise in the use of the English Language with limited characters. I could probably do just as well in French. 2 October 2009 - Correia and fellow-thugs attempt to disrupt Dr Amaral's 50th birthday party.

That is a complete, outright LIE.

Gonc and his fellow-thugs spilled out of the party when one of them saw Marcos and others (including women) passing in a car.

They then attacked Marcos and his companions.

CdM foolishly printed Gonc's version of events, and had to make a public apology to Senhor Correia and others, including women, who had been abused by Gonc and his thugs.

So important to get these things right, isn't it?

BTW, the TRUTH about all this, and more, is a matter of public record. If the hounders and others can't be bothered going and reading it, preferring to believe bullsh*t from a convicted liar, that is their problem.

Yes, but when a ruling is made doesn't it set a precedent whereby lawyers can refer to that case and say in the case of Smith v Jones etc., and bring these up. So surely he has set a benchmark whereby other defendants lawyers can quote the judge, saying if Mr Amaral believed it to be true then he was not guilty of libel? It works on Law and Order

Stating something, which one believes to be true can not be libelous. This is in Dr. Amaral's advantage. The book he wrote and the interviews he gave are based on the investigation, which he led and which he genuinely believes to be true.

His trashy book bears little resemblance to the police files, and he invented assorted LIES.

Lollipops, FLO officers being sacked, Greek holidays - lies, the whole lot of them, and more, invented by Gonc. With the purpose of hurting and damaging Madeleine McCann and her parents.

Which is why he is going to be used as a floor mop - again - in court.

Marcos acquittal is also bad news for ID. She will have an extremely hard time proving defamation. Think about it.

You have to laugh at them, Pedro. They are so desperate, they are trying to persuade themselves that it is GOOD that the Faro court ruled that Gonc has no honour to be offended, and slapped the court costs on him.

They are trying to tell themselves that it's GOOD that the judge, prosecutor and defence (Dra Duarte) all agreed that he is a man without honour - and incidentally confirmed his criminal conviction for LYING yet again.

Some of them think fictional American crime series have a bearing on Portuguese law, none of them seem to grasp that Gonc's ill-starred attempt to get money out of Marcos and the professor came under CRIMINAL, not civil law.

None of them seem to know that Dra Duarte represented Marcos; they all seem to think he defended himself.

And that is how little knowledge they have about anything.

BTW, I wonder if the 'Golden Bullets' tape is going to be played at the libel hearing? No-one listening to that can be in any doubt just what a vile creature Gonc really is.
