News > Belgium
Abdeslam Salah was not arrested during the police operations on Sunday evening, the public enemy number one is still at large!
The federal prosecutor simply stated in its press release that Salah Abdeslam was still at large. According to our colleagues of the Free, Public Enemy have been formally identified by the antibanditisme floor platoon Tongeren in Rocourt (Liège) around 19:30. It would have fled to Germany.
Abdeslam Salah was not arrested that night during the various raids on Sunday throughout Belgium, according to the federal prosecutor.
But according to the information of the free tonight, "Salah Abdeslam have been formally identified by the antibanditisme floor platoon Tongeren in Rocourt (Liège) around 19:30. "
Also according to La Libre, the public enemy No.1 in Belgium would then managed to flee to the E40 direction of Germany. It therefore would not be part of those arrested.
The Belgian authorities have not addressed the issue at the press conference that night, just ensuring that the public enemy number one was still at large.
Remember, Abdeslam Salah is still wanted by the Belgian and French authorities following his involvement in the attacks in Paris on 13 November which made 130 deaths. Its role is however not officially known: it seemed to be a shooter on the terraces of the tenth and eleventh arrondissements, it would eventually served as conductor for other terrorists according to ABC News.

Yes, some of the minor rats have been rounded up, but the ringleader is still on the loose somewhere in Europe. If he dirties his face a bit, no-one will notice him if he mingles with the 'migrants'.

Hungarian police says four arrested on way to Budapest with explosives
Discovery in car led to house search where bomb-making laboratory was found, while two more people were caught in car with submachine guns
Hungarian anti-terrorist police have said they detained four people last week heading to the capital with explosives in their car and found a bomb-making laboratory.
Security has been tightened for senior officials entitled to “top protection”, the Counter Terrorism Centre said in a statement. Its director general, Janos Hajdu, said the suspects were detained last week as police stepped up investigations that touched on the security of the officials, whom he declined to name.
After the suspects in the car were detained a house search revealed a bomb-making laboratory with “explosives and devices that were suitable for killing people to the utmost extent”, Hajdu told the state television channel M1.
He said police also caught two other people with submachine guns, ammunition and silencers in their car, and that it was not clear whether the two groups were connected.
Much of western Europe has been on high alert since Islamist militants killed 130 people in co-ordinated attacks in Paris on 13 November that were claimed by Islamic State, and the Belgian capital Brussels has been in lockdown for several days because of fears that another attack is imminent.
Asked whether the Hungary suspects had jihadist links, Hajdu said: “Let me reply to that in the next few days.”
Hajdu declined to disclose the suspects’ identities, nationalities or presumed motives but said the case had an international dimension.
M1 said two of the suspects had been formally placed under arrest and a court would decide on the others on Wednesday.

German police arrest two in Berlin suspected of planning attack

German police commando units arrested two people suspected of planning an attack and searched an Islamic cultural centre on Thursday, a police spokesman said.
Police raided the cultural centre in western Berlin and arrested two men aged 28 and 48 at a separate location in the south of the capital.
An object "presumed to be hazardous" was found in a car used by the two men, prompting police to block off the area and evacuate residents from several buildings, according to a police statement.
Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Wednesday the security threat level in Germany remained high after the Paris attacks.

http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/622868/REVEALED-The-UK-cities-Christmas-shoppers-are-most-at-risk-of-terror-attacks
Speaking as he set out his case for air strikes against Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria, Mr Fallon warned Britain could “easily” see a repeat of this month’s terror attacks in Paris, which left 130 people dead and over 350 injured.
And he said Christmas shoppers and those in London, Manchester and Glasgow could be most at risk from ISIS, also known as Isil.
He said: “What happened in Paris and Brussels could easily happen in London.
“We have seen it in Paris, a European city, just two hours away, right on our doorstep.
“The threat from Isil is as potent here as it was real in Paris and Brussels.
“It could be London, it could be Manchester, it could be Glasgow.”
He said that the threat to the UK is “extremely high” - with festive shoppers in the run-in to Christmas particularly at risk.
He said: “We have seen threats to shopping centres in the past.
“We have had terrorists convicted of making threats to shopping centres in the past but we mustn’t be cowed by these risks.”...etc.
Ah, the many blessings of multi-kulti!

Re: Shooting in Paris
Police say around 100 people have been detained in skirmishes ahead of the Paris climate summit amid tight security following the recent terror attacks.
Around 200 protesters, some wearing masks, clashed with riot police at the Place de la Republique in the centre of the French capital.
There were chants of "State of emergency, police state", in reference to the state of emergency rules enforced following the massacre by Islamic State extremists on 13 November, in which 130 people were killed.
A planned march in the run up to the UN climate change conference had been banned by police, while some 24 green activists were placed under house arrest as they were suspected of planning violent protests.
Around 120,000 police and army personnel have been deployed on the streets of Paris amid unprecedented security as world leaders arrive for the conference on Monday.
I question where their loyalties really lie, Pedro, that they are choosing to pick a fight with the French police at a time like this.
And why do they need masks?

Re: Shooting in Paris
http://news.sky.com/story/1603382/geneva-alert-police-hunt-four-terror-suspects
Police in Switzerland are hunting for four terror suspects and the national security alert level has been raised, according to reports.
Guards with MP5 sub-machine guns have been stationed at the entry points to the United Nations complex in Geneva as the search continues, Reuters reports.
Despite earlier reports, Swiss federal police said they have no information linking suspects to the deadly attacks in Paris last month in which 130 people were killed.
Swiss federal authorities tipped-off the officers, and the department of security said: "The Geneva police, on the basis of this information, have increased their level of vigilance and reinforced the number of police agents on the ground."
If the snackbars ever attacked politicians and the rest of the elites, instead of ordinary people, then just watch how quickly there would be a change in the elites' attitudes.
