Re: AFTER BREXIT
When we waved our white pamphlets we were sent, reassuring us in black and white - ‘the government will implement what you decide’ - they waved pictures of Gina Miller looking smug.
It has been fun to watch that smile wiped from her face as she acquired the title of most hated woman in Britain. I wouldn’t suggest moving to Stoke, Hastings, Plymouth, Basildon, Boston or Skeggy any time soon love. Or near me.

Don't know about Osborne, but Mrs Smug Rich is closely linked to Soros, and a lot of questions are being asked about Sturgeon, who is repeatedly making statements that are NOT in the interest of Scots.
I wish Mrs May would call a snap election, as a good few of the SNP useless troughers would lose their seats; they were only elected on protest votes, anyway.
Having voted for them all my life, I will never, ever vote for them again. They don't actually care about investment in Scotland, or employment, and are utterly, totally incompetent. They are NOT nationalists, they are globalist SJWs hiding behind a bit of tartan ribbon.
Sturgeon is our version of Obama - an empty chair.

Re: AFTER BREXIT
It's starting to show on her face - this was earlier today, in the course of one of the interminable spats in Holyrood, where she had to get bailed out by the Greens.
I don't know what's going on with Ms Sturgeon, but something isn't right. She looks like that most of the time now, nothing at all like her appearance only two years ago.
I don't know if whoever is pulling her strings isn't pleased with the way things are going, or what, but something is up with her.

http://news.sky.com/story/social-media-echo-chamber-causing-political-tunnel-vision-study-finds-10755219
Research appears to confirm the existence of an "echo chamber" effect in UK politics, in which social media users are more likely to engage with people and media sources that share their political beliefs.
The study from Demos, a cross-party think tank, found that the "echo chamber" effect was strongest among those furthest from the political mainstream.
Researchers analysed the Twitter use of 2,000 people who openly support the Conservatives, Labour, UKIP or the SNP.
The study found that supporters of the SNP and UKIP were much less likely to engage with people holding different beliefs, or to tweet material from outlets with opposing editorial stances.
I don't know anything about UKIP, but the present-day SNP is beyond blinkered and parochial.
Eh dinna read that yoonunist shite, eh just read Wings and the National, that's all the news eh read.
Which has led to things like this:
That whole saga was utterly shameful, and another reason why so many of the current crop of SNP leaders are not fit to hold office.

Re: AFTER BREXIT
http://news.sky.com/story/speaker-john-bercow-no-confidence-motion-tabled-by-tory-mp-10761692
Announcing his move on Sky News, James Duddridge, a former Government whip and junior Foreign Office minister, said Mr Bercow had "overstepped the mark".
Mr Duddridge tabled his motion minutes before the Commons rose for a half-term recess and has made the bold claim that Mr Bercow could be gone by the time MPs return to Westminster on 20 February.
But in a defiant response to Mr Duddridge, a spokeswoman for Mr Bercow told Sky News: "The Speaker has made his position clear in response to Points of Order earlier this week, stands by that position and has nothing further to add."
And although the Speaker's attempt to ban Donald Trump from speaking in Westminster Hall during his UK visit later this year incensed many Tory MPs, he has strong backing from opposition MPs and some Conservatives.
On the final day before the 2015 election, a move engineered by then Commons Leader William Hague and Chief Whip Michael Gove to start the ousting of Mr Bercow suffered a humiliating rebuff....etc.
Personally, I think Bercow's ghastly wife's antics should have been sufficient for him to have been booted out long ago......

http://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/bercow-blocked-vaz-revelations-after-accepting-poll-donations-gbs8ndr65?shareToken=1ae5c7f432a4722ddaea3b76ca6b39a8
Bercow blocked Vaz revelations after accepting poll donations
ohn Bercow stopped the Commons being warned about police inquiries into Keith Vaz after accepting tens of thousands of pounds from the MP’s associates.
The Speaker, who is required to be scrupulously fair as chairman of the lower house, took the gifts to help him to hold on to his parliamentary seat at the general elections in 2010 and 2015.
The Times used the Freedom of Information Act to request details of all Mr Vaz’s communications with the Speaker’s office but Mr Bercow forbade any material to be disclosed. He signed a formal certificate presented to Elizabeth Denham, the UK’s information commissioner, saying that to hand anything over would “prejudice the effective conduct of public affairs”.
However, he has recently made decisions that may be seen as helpful to the Leicester East MP, raising concerns of a potential conflict of interest.
When the Conservative MP Andrew Bridgen privately alerted the Speaker in September 2015 about allegations being made to police, Mr Bercow declined to ask Mr Vaz to quit as chairman of the influential home affairs select committee. The Speaker also stopped Mr Bridgen from telling the Commons details about the police looking into an alleged abuse of public office by Mr Vaz.
The Labour MP’s role as the select committee chairman enabled him to question police chiefs. He resigned only after an unrelated scandal last year involving a sex party with two rent boys. Less than two months later MPs appointed Mr Vaz as a member of the justice committee, which scrutinises the director of public prosecutions. He remains under investigation by the Commons sleaze watchdog for damaging the reputation of the House.
The contributors had every right to give Mr Bercow donations. The Speaker broke no rules but his judgment may be called into question.
The Speaker is traditionally returned unopposed at general elections but Nigel Farage and some independents stood against Mr Bercow in his Buckingham seat in 2010. Ukip did so again in 2015. The Times has now discovered that most of the gifts accepted by Mr Bercow to fund his re-election campaigns came from associates of Mr Vaz.etc

Re: AFTER BREXIT
Official: pragmatic Brexit deal in Hungary’s interest
Talks over conditions attached to Brexit should not be punitive but pragmatic, and Britain can count on Hungary’s support in reaching an acceptable deal, a government official said in London. After meeting officials from the UK’s Foreign Office, trade ministry as well as the CBI and IoD business lobbies, László Szabó, parliamentary state secretary for foreign affairs, told journalists that the EU should not try to punish Britain but instead create an environment in which member states want to remain because they see the bloc’s value. Hungary wants the Brexit talks to be fair and transparent, he said.
Asked about the future prospects of Hungarian citizens living in the UK, Szabó said that in the course of his talks, representatives of business and politicians alike said they could not imagine how Britain would stay functional without workers from central and eastern Europe. The UK jobless rate is rather low and it is clear that if suddenly there were to be an exodus of workers, the country would be in trouble. British officials understand this, he added. He said Hungary was not actively encouraging British companies to leave the UK to relocate to Hungary, but if they wanted to move elsewhere then they should know that Hungary would provide an “ideal operating” environment.

Hungary seems to be sensible and not dogmatically worshipping of the EU, LL, so I am sure something will easily be worked out.
It's the EU fanatics that are going to be the problem, IMO - Junker and co sound quite deranged at times.

AI machine predicts Marine Le Pen will be France's next president AI machine predicts Marine Le Pen will be France's next president
3 Hours Ago | 00:34
Marine Le Pen is on course to be the next president of France, according to one fund manager's big-data analysis.
Arun Kant, chief executive and chief investment officer at Singapore-based investing firm Leonie Hill Capital, told CNBC he expected the right-wing populist to prevail thanks to his firm's proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) system's analysis of troves of data.
His analysis — which he said incorporates inputs such as social and traditional media discussions, polling, economics and demographics — predicts that Le Pen will "walk over" her opponents in the first electoral test and then prove most forecasters wrong and steal the lead in the second ballot, Kant said.
The French vote is split into two phases, with the top two candidates from the April 23 round due to face each other in a second run-off on May 7. In the running alongside 48-year old Le Pen are former economy minister and independent candidate Emmanuel Macron, conservative ex-prime minister Francois Fillon and socialist Benoit Hamon.
Kant's AI program predicts that Le Pen would take 28 percent of the vote in the first round, he said, which would best 16.4 percent for Fillon, and 19 to 20 percent for Macron.
Current inputs are pointing to a Macron victory in the second round — 52.3 percent to 47.7 for Le Pen — Kant said, but he added that he expects the right-wing politician to gain considerable ground after a first round victory.
"If she wins the first round, this dynamic will change," he said, noting the similarities between the populist appeal of Le Pen and President Donald Trump.
And with this predicted momentum, Le Pen will likely win the presidency, Kant said....etc.
