Yes - things are bad enough now, but just think of the horror that would have been unleashed if UK - and US -troops had been sent to fight on the same side as ISIS.

I actually doubt if Milliband saw the trap that was being set, but his actions stopped it being sprung.

I can assure you, that the spectacle of a woman whose income, combined with that of her husband, is no less than £250,000 a year, telling working people, pensioners, etc., that the economy doesn't matter is going down very badly indeed domestically.
