Re: AFTER BREXIT
There must be some desperate people lurking in the shadows who are pulling every trick they have from their hats in the hope that things go their way?

France is in trouble and Marine Le Pen is heading for the presidency
It may seem impossible, but we live in a world where today's incredible can become tomorrow's common-place
Well, that would certainly shut Sturgeon up about the joys of the EU.

Re: AFTER BREXIT
A brief summary of the chaos Sturgeon is presiding over:

SCOTTISH SUN SAYS One simple question for SNP Economy Secretary Keith Brown…do you think we’re thick?
The current gap between Scotland’s income and spending is massive — £14.8billion and that is going by his government’s own figures

Her government has also massively hiked rates for small and middle-range businesses like hotels, and many of them are going to go to the wall. In a country which depends on tourism for hundreds of thousands of jobs.
She is presiding over a possible economic disaster of Darien Scheme proportions, all the while shouting and bawling about bl**dy referendums and the EU.

Re: AFTER BREXIT
This is a real photo, untouched in any way. It really is a rather portly A. Salmond, rallying the troops whilst standing on children's playground equipment, while some kind of bizarre Caledonian Darth Vader looks on.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-02-21/i-will-not-cover-myself-le-pen-refuses-wear-headscarf-cancels-meeting-lebanese-cleri
French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen, and leader of the National Front, canceled a Tuesday meeting with Lebanon's grand mufti, its top cleric for Sunni Muslims, after refusing to wear a headscarf for the encounter. After meeting Christian President Michel Aoun, her first public handshake with a head of state, and Sunni Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri on Monday, she had been scheduled to meet the Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian. He heads the Dar al-Fatwa, the top religious authority for Sunni Muslims in the multireligious country.
Officials at the Dar al-Fatwa said Le Pen had been told in advance she’d need to put on a headscarf before meeting the Grand Mufti. Reminded again on arriving at his Beirut headquarters, she refused and left. “Dar al-Fatwa regrets this inappropriate behavior,” the council said in a statement
"I met the grand mufti of Al-Azhar," she told reporters, referring to a visit in 2015 to Cairo's 1,000-year-old center of Islamic learning. "The highest Sunni authority didn't have this requirement, but it doesn't matter. You can pass on my respects to the grand mufti, but I will not cover myself up," she said.
Good for her! At least Ms le Pen has a spine, unlike this lot:
Strong wimmenz? Bunch of sheep, more like, cowering at the sight of an Ayatollah!

Re: AFTER BREXIT
Don't forget Sturgeon's in this mix as well, Max, with her ScotlandbeingdraggedoutoftheEUagainstourwill.
Behind all her shouting and bawling, she is NOT acting in the best interests of Scottish people, and hasn't been for some time. She and her colleagues have also proven they simply cannot be trusted.
Trust me, you don't want to know about the ins and outs of Scots politics, but many are saying that Sturgeon and the modern-day SNP have been Bought and sold for EU gold. Such a parcel of rogues in a nation.

http://www.politico.eu/article/nigel-farage-taunted-wife-with-anti-german-football-chant/?utm_content=bufferdc4bb&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage admitted singing ”Two World Wars, One World Cup,” a popular terrace chant among English fans, to taunt his German wife during football matches, the Telegraph reported.
In an interview with the broadcaster Piers Morgan to be broadcast on British TV Friday, Farage said the rivalry between he and his now estranged wife Kirsten when their countries played each other at football was “quite competitive.”
“She’s got a whole load of German flags out of the windows and all of that,” he said. In response, Farage admitted he had sung the anti-German chant at his wife, saying, “I get a bit of stick back too. It’s quite funny really, isn’t it.”
“Two World Wars, One World Cup” refers to English victories against Germany in the two World Wars and the 1966 World Cup Final, in which England defeated West Germany. English footballer players have recorded video messages requesting fans not to sing the offending chant.
Can't think why she left Nige aka 'Mr Sensitive'.

Re: AFTER BREXIT
http://news.sky.com/story/sir-gerald-kaufman-oldest-serving-mp-in-the-commons-dies-aged-86-10783626
Sir Gerald Kaufman, the Labour MP and Father of the House of Commons, has died aged 86, sparking a by-election in his Manchester seat.
He died on Sunday evening having suffered from a long-term illness for several months, his family said.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said Sir Gerald was an "iconic and irascible figure", adding: "He loved life and politics. I will deeply miss him, both for his political commitment and constant friendship."
The Labour politician was first elected as Manchester Ardwick MP in 1970, before becoming Manchester Gorton MP after constituency boundary changes in 1983 until his death.
Sir Gerald's family announced his death "with great sadness", saying: "Sir Gerald had been suffering from a long-term illness for several months, but, in that time, remained firmly committed to, and focused on, the activities and wellbeing of his beloved constituency, which he had served since first elected in 1970.
Sir Gerald won his seat in 2015 with a majority of 24,079 and the constituency is regarded as one of Labour's safest seats.
So the by-election resulting from Sir Gerald's death is unlikely to cause any headaches for Mr Corbyn.

Re: AFTER BREXIT
Yes, like anyone's going to be impressed by anything Major says.
I am not sure which is worse, letting the UK economy be looted by Soros, or his affair with Edwina Currie.

Re: AFTER BREXIT
Yes.
In the past, I could never understand why, so many times throughout history, Scotland managed to snatch defeat and disaster from the jaws of victory.
Then Sturgeon and her cronies came along. The mess she has made in a few short years beggars belief. She is also a totally hollow woman, all show and no substance.
