It would be tragic if something happened to Soros in a mystery explosion.

Re: Donald J. Trump wins Presidency
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/11/18/trump-university-related-lawsuits-settled-for-25-million.html
DEVELOPING: U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Friday agreed to settle three fraud lawsuits linked to Trump University for $25 million, FoxNews.com confirmed.
The settlement ends a dispute that has followed Trump throughout his presidential campaign and raised questions about how he would handle it after being sworn in as president in January.
Students at the now-defunct school claimed they were duped into paying thousands of dollars to learn the secret of Trump’s real estate success.
Trump's legal team negotiated the settlement with New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and the law firm that brought a class action lawsuit on behalf of students who attended the for-profit school.
“In 2013, my office sued Donald Trump for swindling thousands of innocent Americans out of millions of dollars through a scheme known at Trump University,” Schneiderman said in a written statement. “Donald Trump fought us every step of the way, filing baseless charges and fruitless appeals and refusing to settle for even modest amounts of compensation for the victims of his phony university. Today, that all changes.”
Schneiderman said the $25 million to be paid by Trump or one of his business entities includes restitution for students and $1 million in penalties to the state.
The settlement comes just days before the class action lawsuit in California was to begin.
Schneiderman said the $25 million to be paid by Trump or one of his business entities includes restitution for students and $1 million in penalties to the state.
The deal doesn't require Trump to acknowledge wrongdoing. Trump has strongly denied the allegations and said during the campaign that he wouldn't settle.
I bet the allegators were desperate to get any money, once they were no longer of any use to Hillary. The whole thing was obviously political, right down to the La Raza judge with the Clinton activist wife.
$25 million is well worth putting an end to that nonsense - and I never did expect it to go to court anyway.

Man Admits Lying About ‘Trump Country Lynching’ Hate Crime Report
An African-American man in Malden, Massachusetts has now admitted that he fabricated a hate crime report when he claimed two white men accosted him, saying the U.S. is now “Trump country,” and threatened to lynch him.
A man in the suburb north of Boston told police on Tuesday that he was accosted by two white men after getting off a Boston mass transit bus near Broadway Square in Malden.
The complainant, who has remained unidentified, said the men used racial slurs and warned him he would soon be lynched because the U.S. is now “Trump country.” The man said he ran away and hid, waiting for the men to go away before calling police.
Malden police immediately prioritized the report as a “hate crime” and an investigation was opened. But now police are reporting that their investigation revealed a hoax had been committed....etc.

Re: Donald J. Trump wins Presidency
Nunes has also recently attributed his rise in American politics to his Portuguese upbringing.
His family has operated a farm in Tulare County for three generations and like many families in the Central Valley, the Nunes family is of Portuguese-Azorean heritage.
In comments to The Hill, which covers news about Congress, Nunes said: “Portuguese families have strong work ethics, and they work hard no matter what industry they’re in.”
Well done! He also sounds very sensible, which is a pleasant change in politics these days.

Re: Donald J. Trump wins Presidency
That was a fine dumb stunt the cast of Hamilton pulled last night - nothing like a combination of actors and people that can afford high-priced theatre tickets harrassing the VP-in-waiting to prove Trump right about elites.
I wonder, have they bothered to look at a map of voters and seen they are largely confined to New York and California? Do they realise that they have just annoyed, all over again, the everyday Americans they so despise?

Tolerant progressives 1-

I suggest Republican politicians just avoid the theatre from now on, between what happened to Lincoln, and the hissy fit at Hamiliton.
Tolerant progressives 2-

What, exactly, is it these Soros-funded brats imagine they are going to achieve? Between sparking a fond wish in all the people they are harrassing and bullying for President Trump to turn the National Guard loose on them on January 21st?
With live ammo.....

Re: Donald J. Trump wins Presidency
http://news.sky.com/story/trump-lined-up-for-invitation-to-meet-the-queen-on-state-visit-10664683
The Queen is reportedly set to invite Donald Trump to Windsor Castle on an official state visit to the UK.
According to several newspapers, senior government officials are said to be drawing up plans for the visit as early as next year, as they ponder how to cement the "special relationship".
The President-elect reportedly told Prime Minister Theresa May during a phone call last week that his late Scottish mother was a "big fan" of the Queen, according to the Sunday Times...etc.
There are advantages to having a Head of State that isn't a politician, when diplomacy is needed. This may also be why British people have so little respect for any politicians.....
That business at Hamilton was beyond stupid, IMO. Look at it this way, who is going to listen to people who have singled you and your wife out for a public lecture when you were enjoying a night out at the theatre?
Never mind all the remarks about what happened to Republican president Abraham Lincoln in a theatre?

Re: Donald J. Trump wins Presidency
http://news.sky.com/story/obama-will-speak-out-on-trump-to-defend-us-ideals-10665804
Barack Obama has said it is not his intention to become his successor's constant critic - but promised to speak out if Donald Trump or his policies breach certain "values or ideals".
Speaking at the end of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Peru, Mr Obama said even the best presidents end up confronting realities they didn't anticipate, and believes the same will happen with the next administration.
Aren't you lucky, Lily? You're going to get your very own Tony Blair, never done carping, whining and meddling, and unable to accept the verdict of history.
Or grasp that he's a detested failure.
Like Blair, despite the disasters his policies have caused, at home and abroad, Obungle still thinks he's right and the rest of the world is wrong.
