The exchange rate is down to 82.77 pence, down about half a penny. This is The Euro dropping, not The Pound rising. This is hardly catastrophic for The Euro, and not much use for me.

Francois Hollande is the only one Sarkozy needs to watch, but it is said that a Socialist President will not be good for France at the moment. I believe that Francois Hollande could have won four years ago but they put up his "Wife" instead of him. She was a complete disaster because she obviously didn't know what she was talking about.
These two have since separated, with four children between them. It was a bit nasty.
She slagged him off something rotten. He behaved like a perfect gentleman. He is also quite clever.
