Conspiraloons on every side are convinced that MI5 are going to rub out and alter their votes if they vote in pencil, so are taking their own Special Pens into polling booths.

Fools! If MI5 really wanted to mess with the results, all they would have to do is get printing presses in Tower Hamlets to run off fake 'postal votes', maybe lose a few ballot boxes for four or five hours after 10pm.

This is the moment police took the name of a pro-Brexit supporter who offered voters the use of her pen in case of fraud.
Some Vote Leave campaigners have claimed that using the pencil usually found in polling stations is dangerous because their cross could be rubbed out and changed, even claiming MI5 are involved.
Jacqueline Jackson, who was outside a Winchester polling station, filmed the officer taking her details as she argued she was allowed to lend her pen to anyone entering.
She then tweeted the footage and said: 'Police came to Chichester polling station called by REMAIN side to stop me LENDING my PEN to all voters #fraud'.
Many have used the hashtag 'usepens' to encourage others to refuse to use a pencil, although it has since been hijacked by Remain campaigners who are calling them conspiracy theorists.

It's been a long campaign. I just hope, after tomorrow, we can all come together and agree never to talk to each other about politics again.

Not the slightest chance. Night of the Tory Long Knives is scheduled for Friday, as Dave forgot the most basic rule of referendums - Never call a referendum unless you can be sure of winning.

Whatever happens, the north of England vote is likely to be very different from that in the south, so plenty to fight about there. And all those northern English seats where UKIP came second will go UKIP next time. The Tory party may even split in two.

And even if Leave doesn't win in Scotland, if they put up a good showing, then the knives will also be out for Ms Sturgeon for making 100% commitment to the EU compulsory for members. Until they get into the polling booths, of course.

So, plenty drama and shouting to look forward to.
