I have NO idea of the accuracy of that.

Based on yet another poll...I have NO idea what the final result will be, at 83.7% the turnout is much higher than expected.

IMO, a narrow win for Remain is going to be almost as big a disaster as a Leave win would be for Cameron; it means the country is split right down the middle, and the genies that got loose in this awful campaign aren't going to go back in the bottle.

Yup. And even when results start coming in, the London vote and the North vote are liable to be very different indeed.

Well, I got excited for a minute when I saw a result coming in, but it was only Gibraltar, which naturally voted to stay in.

Nigel is now making an oddly upbeat speech......

So, a very narrow win for Remain in Newcastle, which still isn't really telling us anything, as there was only 1% of a difference.

And Orkney voted solidly for Remain, but I gather that was expected.

OMG, there has been a HUGE win for Leave in Sunderland.......it seems it's much bigger than expected.

Sterling suddenly unwell.

Another big Leave win in Swindon; a couple of tiny constituencies have voted Remain, but they are so small, they're barely a blip.

South Tyneside 62% Leave. Solid Northern Labour areas solid for Leave. Claiming winning Yorkshire by "country mile".

Sky have called the result for LEAVE by roughly 48 - 52. The UK is leaving the EU.

Me too, Sabot - I had no intentions of staying awake all night, but it was riveting. No, I have NO idea what happens next, but the world has turned upside down overnight.

My pension isn't looking good at the moment, Bonny. But never mind. Been there and done that before for far less good reason.

I fell asleep at 9pm, and woke up at 3am. At 3am in was Remain. What happened?

Wales voted Leave, the big northern cities voted Leave, everyone who has been sh*t upon from a great height voted Leave.

Scotland voted 62% Remain on a low-ish turnout, but there is more to that than meets the eye. Ms Sturgeon didn't allow free choice in the SNP, they HAD to vote Remain, hoping England would vote Leave, simply to provoke a constitutional crisis - as if things aren't now unstable enough already.

The party has become very shabby and dishonest, frankly. But that's another story...

I actually wouldn't worry too much about your pension, Sabot - a weaker pound is good for exports, and once it sinks in with the EU that they are going to lose one of their biggest contributors, the euro will probably start wobbling, too.

Interesting times ahead!

No, because despite all the grandstanding, Sturgeon didn't get the numbers she needed; she has no mandate and no majority, and people here are sick to death of electioneering. She also signed the Scotland Act.
