She's probably also aware that people can see through this act of Concerned Commentators wanting to know every single detail of negotiations - it's another delaying tactic, IMO.

Personally, I haven't the slightest interest in the endless details assorted civil servants have to thrash out, especially as the Concerned Commentators will try to turn it into an argument about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

Government already drafting Brexit Article 50 bill
Theresa May gears up the Government machine so she can be ready to hit her own March deadline for officially triggering Brexit.

The Government is quietly preparing the first draft of a bill to trigger Article 50 - the formal process to divorce the EU - in case it loses the appeal in the Supreme Court.

A senior Government source told Sky News it was "sensible" for the Government to draw up a bill now in order to keep Theresa May's Brexit timetable on track should it be forced to grant a vote on activating Article 50 through Parliament.

While in public the Government has insisted its focus is on challenging the High Court ruling that it must consult Parliament on the process of triggering formal talks to leave the EU, in private ministers and civil servants are working on alternatives in the event No 10 loses its appeal.

Sources told Sky News that the Government needed to begin work on a bill now in order to have enough time to push it through Parliament by the Prime Minister's deadline for triggering Article 50 by the end of March 2017. ..etc.

The director of public prosecutions is considering a complaint that voters were misled by the Vote Leave and Leave.EU campaigns, in contravention of electoral law.

The complaint about “undue influence” on the referendum campaign has been submitted by an independent group, spearheaded by Prof Bob Watt, an expert in electoral law from the University of Buckingham.

Sturgeon got hundreds - thousands - of replies like that. She's fouled up big time, and people are beginning to speculate how long she can hold onto office.

She's been in her progressive GURLLL POWER bubble for so long, Lily, I suspect she thought everyone would rush to congratulate her on her cleverness.

Instead, she got thousands of extremely rude posts, and only a handful agreeing that, yes, #I'mwithher.

Most of them are variations on:

1. Why did you endorse that warmongering witch? Read wikileaks.

2. If you have to endorse people just because they're female, then why not endorse Jill Stein?

3. You're supposed to be representing Scotland, not a bunch of stupid feminists.

4. They're both awful, but Trump is the lesser of the evils and doesn't like wars. He also employs a lot of people in Scotland, you stupid woman.

5. How much is Soros paying you?

I doubt if she expected a barrage of insults like that, not only because of her strong wimmen guff, but also because of, er, local disputes involving golf courses and windfarms.

It will shake her to her core to discover that if push came to shove, so many people right on her own doorstep would back Trump.

THE CAMPAIGNER who led the fight for Parliament to trigger Article 50 refused to disclose how much she spent bringing the case to the High Court despite being repeatedly pressed on it.

Probably because it's her chum Soros who is actually footing her bill. Though it's British taxpayers who have to pay for the government side.

The radio host hit back and said: “My point is, what you consider to be not a very large amount of money… is probably more than what most people in this country earn net in a year.

“Most people would not be able to bring a court case like this and that’s where the anger about the elite establishment and rich comes in.”

Ms Miller said the presenter was making “huge presumptions” and said it was “irrelevant” to the point of the case.

Scotland seeks to block Brexit talks without its approval
LONDON (AP) — The Scottish government said Tuesday that it will ask Britain's Supreme Court to block Prime Minister Theresa May from triggering European Union exit talks without consulting the Scottish Parliament first — another potential blow to May's hopes of a quickie divorce from the bloc.

She's just blowing hot air and grandstanding yet again, LL - it's all she ever does. She NEVER does any work on the day to day running of Scotland, which is the job she is so lavishly paid to do.

She's a one trick pony, I am afraid.

If you want just a small sample of this chaos, I give you - Police Scotland.

Now, until fairly recently, Scotland had regional police services. It worked pretty much OK, local knowledge, local control rooms, etc.

Then, someone in the SNP decided it would be a brilliant idea - and 'save money' - to make them one national police force, under central control. It was pointed out that this was a very bad idea because:

a. The local knowledge, etc, would be lost.

b. The Scottish police would become, because of the vagaries of taxation law, liable for VAT if they were one giant force.

Did the SNP listen? Did they hell. They put through the necessary legislation when they had a majority, since lost, at Holyrood, and here we are. The consequences have been:

a. Vast areas of Scotland left without any police officers at all, as they are all hived off to Glasgow and the central belt. The local control rooms have been closed, 'for efficiency', so we now have have control rooms with no local knowledge. This shambles has already led to deaths.

b. The shiny new 'cost saving' Police Scotland cannot pay its VAT bill. So dozens of police stations are being closed to save money.

And that is the level of incompetence at which Ms Sturgeon is operating in her day job, when she isn't shouting the odds and playing at being a world leader.

I was reading about her great success failures today here in the US.

She may well resign if Trump wins, rather than face the ignominy of having to behave like a grown-up when Air Force One lands at Prestwick....
