Short answer - I have no up-to-date information, Lily. These things take years at the best of times, and when it involved Portuguese law, it's even worse.

Look at how long it took to get Tavares da Almeida into court, and convicted of torture. It's probably going to take another ten years for the PJ to boot him out.

Speaking of PJ, I wonder how Gonc feels with Rebelo being in charge in Lisbon these days? If anyone knows how incompetent Gonc was, it's Rebelo.

Such a pity The Portuguese Prime Minister didn't treat Gonc's Fridge Theory in The Cipriano Trial with the same contempt. Gonc's first fridge theory was laughable, and even more so the second time around. So, he got away with it the first time, but twice was really pushing his luck.
In fact, I doubt there is more than a handful of people left in Portugal who still believe in Leonor Cipriano's guilt. And all thanks to Goncalo Amaral himself.
